Made my home address public instead of business address

While registering my dba on the website it asked for the business address. I gave it so that could show when people search my company.Then they asked for the registered agents address & it said that the information will not be shared. So I put my home address thinking that it would be private like they stated & any paperwork would be sent directly to me. Just got my paperwork today only to find out that they filed & now my home address is public instead of my business address. In order for me to change that they want another $50 after I spent $100 & have been waiting for weeks! W T F?? It’s complete BS to be misled! Why would your site say one thing & your agent tells me something different. I’m beyond upset because I’ve already made arrangements for my business only for it to be put on hold so I can fix what they messed up! I was going to recommend them to a family member of mine that’s looking to start her own business but never mind!

I am extremely disappointed. A business bank account is the only thing stopping me from lifting my business off the ground.As I am UK based, I found Incfile to register my company which happened. However, after 3 months it started becoming apparent that a lot of the services I am enquiring about are becoming clear that are only for US Citizens. Incfile knew far well that I was registering from overseas and even though they knew they were providing services to US Citizen only, Incfile still chose to take my money instead of being upfront and honest from the beginning and said "look if you would like the full package of opening a business bank account, we only serve US based clients and you would be better off elsewhere". I chose the premium plan of $724 but considering there are companies that would formed my company AND a bank account, I should have looked carefully. I would have had the whole business package included elsewhere for the premium I paid Incfile. That's not all, when I called the Incfile Registered Agent on the number specified a few weeks ago by a colleague of Incfile's, the agent claimed that all I needed for the business account was my EIN number, articles of organization and identification. Shortly after, when I spoke with the banking specialist from Bank Of America they told me it's great I have the EIN number and articles of organization, but without a Social Security Number they cannot do anything. A Social Security Number gets assigned to US Citizens only. So it turns out I am screwed. Hey I have an LLC registered but I don't have a bank account to receive my business financial relations. Kurt R, from Incfile told me "It is not mandatory to have a US SSN to open a business banking account, this is just a policy for this particular bank." This is not the case at all. I (continuing to waste my time) contacted 50 (and counting) other banks and ALL of them required an SSN. I requested a refund on the full premium amount I paid, even until today they are continuing to brush me off with 4 lines of email text where they are not only refusing to assist me but are also quick on finishing this topic altogether. I spent a lot of money to only find out I cannot open a business bank account. In which case I paid a huge sum for an incomplete business package. I am on the other side of the world trying to make my administration business ends meet so that I can finally have a functional business and Incfile is not moving a muscle. To all future purchasers, please read the reviews of this company before you get down to the nitty gritty, do your due diligence. There are companies out there that will open you a US business bank account (and current if you want) AND form your company. Do your research because it turns out I have put my money through the shredder.

I've successfully registered businesses before using different services, but when I tried to register a business with this company they took my money and then denied my application days later.When I called the company to discuss the issue, the customer service representative told me that I needed to re-register my business because the application was denied due to a "problem" with my billing address. The customer service representative stated that the billing department had "flagged" my application but wouldn't give me more details. When I spoke with a manager to understand why my application was flagged, I was told that 1 of the potential factors is the plan you choose, and of course I chose the cheapest plan. I wasted 2 hours on something that should have taken 10 minutes with still no clear explanation of why my application was flagged or any steps to correct the issue.

This leaves feeling of something gone fishy.
The company said they could not process my application because the SCC will not allow them.I can’t get a reason from the company why SCC won’t process the application. I talked to SCC and they say it can be done as long as the Name Reservation receipt I provided is used. I stated to them someone at SCC will help and yet the company simply say “ we can’t proceed”
Not given an explanation is never a good thing!

Edit: Issue finally resolved after the right person escalated the coding issue. The person who followed up was really nice too.
I really enjoyed the initial process of registering my LLC.Everything was fine and affordable. Solid website. All was well. Now their login system is not working (at least for me). I have a tech background, so I know all the ways it could be on my end, and it's not. Their own login system is not working as they describe (they us an email code for login vs. a password), so I have not been able to get into my account for many days. Don't register your LLC here if you expect to retain access to your account--and their customer service is SOOOOOO inaccessible. Sounds like a startup that tried to undercut the market and now is in over their heads.
