Harassment

Never had anything to do with these people but my phone line is registered with the Telephone Preference Service and they call me every day asking me to take part in stupid surveys.I stopped answering their calls and even started blocking them but they call from a different number. If I get any further calls, they are being reported to BT as it’s blatant harassment and also a data protection breach.

In the same situation as a lot of… In the same situation as a lot of… In the same situation as a lot of people on here, you do everything their app tells you to do and then they don't pay you. EDIT: I have emailed your support and they said "We sent your comments to the project team." that was a month ago and still not heard nothing. It is clearly a scam. EDIT; Ipsos is trying to get reviews removed so there are likely a lot more 1 star reviews

Ipsos Mori: our opinions are not fact

Reviewed on 2020-06-27T07:24:03

Ipsos Mori, I took part in wave 2 of your Covid Research Study for DoHSC, it did not go well. Firstly,"DoHSC" is the sound a cartoon weasel makes after being bonked on the noggin. Secondly, your courier company, Yodel, sent a couple of PPE-less thugs round and I thought I was going to be kidnapped. This project is going to kill people! What's happening Ipsos Mori... hang on a second. Is this what we really want to talk about? When I say your name, there's something endearing about the 'MORI' part. For some reason, I want to call you Uncle Mori, I think it will bring us closer. I picture you as a savvy Uncle, always forthcoming with the hushed facts of life in the corners of family gatherings. Is that ok with you? Uncle Mori I need one of our whispered chats, the type when I can smell the alcohol on your breath as you tell me secrets about my Dad as a fighting teenager. The Covid research you're publishing and syndicating creates a different narrative to my real world experience. You’re measuring what people’s opinions are about a virus - a mathematical entity. This is toothless, Uncle Mori. You say 27% of Brits wear facemasks – is it too much to ask to layer this metric with other data sets, like other global face mask data to see if there is a correlation between that and the rate of contagion? Can you explain why our mortality rate is ten times that of other countries? (9% global deaths/0.9%polpulation) Is this what you really want to be doing? A little while ago, you published a white paper in which you measured trust – TRUST Uncle Mori!! It's a subjective concept, you found a way to measure it. The virus is a real thing and it’s happening NOW! There is actual proven data sitting there you can be modelling - like Yodel delivery routes, or Just Eat delivery routes (see what I did there? That's what we call a call back), or hospital visits, or frequency of supermarket spending, or alcohol consumption, or annual income. Yea, I think the last one. I fear you’re becoming a cartoon weasel in a lab coat, you're becoming one of them. Are you just purely theoretical, Uncle Mori? Your Head of Data Science and Analytics Svetlana Gogolina published: "A case study for a psychographic-behavioral segmentation approach for targeted demand generation in voluntary medical male circumcision". Could a similar methodology be applied to answer: "why the f*** can't people stay in their homes during a pandemic and not gather on mass?" Can you garner a few opinions on this? Is it pathological entitlement, or is there a correlation between frequency of messaging in a pandemic with a government controlled narrative, and numbers of people gathering? Are you providing the hand-picked data based on the public's own opinions? Are you feeding us our own opinion as fact to support devastating government policy? You need to stop feeding us junk food Uncle Mori, or we will explode. Uncle Mori, you work for the government now. On your website you say: "...our clients can act faster, smarter and bolder." DoHSC is your client and they are none of those things. They are behaving like - you guessed it - a cartoon weasel, chasing its own tail thinking it's a tasty woodland critter. Do you remember when I worked for a Verisk Group company Uncle Mori? They process a significant percentage of all credit card transactions in the US. Imagine if big data companies created a model of anonymous credit card transactions and contagion by geographic location, or demographic. Do you think this might be more useful than trying to measure Hope? Oh, sorry, it was Trust. I'm disappointed in you Uncle Mori, you're part of a vacuum of accountability that is killing vulnerable people. 175 yesterday. You get two stars because you could change, in theory.
