I put off changing all my passwords for a long time because I didn't want to have to go through everything and update that information.It wasn't until my laptop got stolen and I was forced to secure all my accounts that I decided it's time to switch over. I'm glad I did, it really makes signing in easier, and I'm much happier knowing my passwords are far more secure now than they've ever been in the past.read more

Keepass offers the possibility to keep a local database of all your password, so if someone wants togain access to it they have to physically access your device before they can attempt anything on the heavily encrypted file itself.
I started using Keepass on a personal computer running under Linux, and I particularly liked the fact that it was open-source (peer audited) and cross-platform. I value the safety of my critical data, especially after one of my passwords was compromised by the infamous Heartbleed flaw.
The inbuilt password generator of Keepass means that you don't even have to worry about coming up with new passwords or remembering them. All you need is a long and complex, but easy to rember master password.
The cross-platform nature of Keepass allows to move the database to various devices: Windows, OSX, Android, iOS, Blackberry OS, iOS... you name it.
We are encouraged to transfer more and more of our sensitive data on remote cloud servers that can easily be compromised by flawed security code, but a solution like Keepass means that you don't have to delegate responsibility and you can stay in charge of your critical data.read more
