Never book a connecting flight with KLM and their partner airline Transavia. There is a complete disconnection in the booking process,I cannot add a second piece of luggage and can only turn up at the airport with a second suitcase and hope they don’t charge me through the roof (which I’m sure they will). Other airlines only charge up to €40 total to add an additional bag, and if I’d known KLM were going to be this useless I would have booked elsewhere. Their online chat assistant assured me several times that once check in opened I would be able to add extra luggage online. Not a very intelligent system as this is completely incorrect. KLMs check in page tells you that you can add extra luggage at Transavias website. Transavias website tells you the booking code is for another airline and won’t let you access anything. Great job KLM, rest assured I will never use your airline again.

I /We travel MAN-AMS regularly. Never had a problem. They have often bent over backwards to help me/usout. I feel people are using Co-Vid as a reason to complain against companies that are doing their best.

Charged me thrice and didn't solve it

Booked a flight using my credit card and suddenly they charged me two more times. While contacting KLM they just told me to phone the cc company and that it's their fault.Obviously it's not and even the cc company said that KLM made a mistake. Will never ever fly KLM again!

Best customer support service and great planes. It's been my first time flying KLM and I can confirm they have modern planes,clean and in good condition and they don't have delays, always on time. They also have great meals on board and helpful staff. I also had to cancel my return flight and KLM helped me through WhatsApp, they are so efficient and one of the best airline companies for sure!

Scammed during Covid

Scammed during Covid. KLM has truly the worst customer service experience in the developed world.I booked a flight last March under the explicit condition that all rebooking is free of charge. When I changed my flight, I was charged a rebooking fee nevertheless. Months of arguing with KLM only lead to them handing out a voucher for the amount. They were unwilling to refund the fee they incorrectly charged. Unlike other airlines that extended their travel vouchers, KLM vouchers are only valid for 12 months - and where does KLM think people traveled over the last 12 months?! Overall, it was a big scam in which they charged me a fee they said they wouldn't charge and never gave back the money. If you can avoid it, don't book with KLM.

Normally I am satisfied with KLM, but absolutely not with their Facebook. I have several times asked them questions,but every time they just write a lot of nonsense that has nothing to do with my question.

covid cancellation - still no refunds

They cancelled my families flights due to Covid in 2020. These cost £11,000. They will not process a refund for me still,and the customer services department, which was outsourced to a third country, tells me that their internal policy is not to give a refund. This despite that this breaks EU law regarding Delayed and Cancelled Flights (2004 regulation). I asked for an email address to write to or speak to a supervisor and they refused. They told me the only other option is to contact them through social media. Is this how big companies expect to do business now? or just KLM being difficult to deal with?. I will not book with them again in future.
