Safe and Caring Schools & Communities is an independent, non-profit organization that builds school and community capacity and awareness to support Safe, Caring, Respectful and Welcoming school environments through the use of needs assessments, researched evidence - based resources, and programs to promote healthy relationships for all.
Vision
The Society for Safe and Caring Schools & Communities exists to support schools and communities as they strive to become Safe, Caring, Respectful and Welcoming environments where each child will learn to be respectful and responsible. We will be a credible, progressive and responsive resource, focused on awareness, promotion and programming in our Four Pillar Program Areas: Connections Program (Aggression Replacement Training Program), Safe and Caring School Audits, Reconciliation in Education (Orange Shirt Program), and resources to support diversity. We strive to be a sustainable organization, that cultivates partnerships and assists schools and communities to make a positive impact on our society.
