Linksoul is more of a philosophy than a brand. It is the collective life's work of a group of people that care about each other and enjoy collaborating. We believe in making things with our hands, with the people we love, for the good of our families and our surroundings. We come from a long line of golfers, craftsmen and artists. It is our idea that through these practices we can learn the most about ourselves. The word "linksoul"​ comes simply from the term "links soul"​, which was an expression of the combination of virtues we found through playing golf... and now seek in whatever we do. Our mission is to reconnect people to the soul of the game. John Ashworth began playing with the idea of Linksoul over twenty years ago while building Ashworth, Inc. After leaving Ashworth, and following a long and winding road through several creative endeavors from course design in Scotland, to designing Quiksilver's golf apparel line, Fidra, and back to Ashworth again for another run. Through it all,​ he collected an all-star team, and with them continued to nurture and grow this idea of Linksoul. Together, after years of conceptualizing, collecting, developing and designing, we are very pleased to birth Linksoul. After several laps around the track, we're looking to expand beyond the current definitions of "business as usual"​ when it comes to making and selling goods and participating as a socially and environmentally responsible company within the community. It's no longer just about golf, it's about everything. (...but golf is still mandatory on Fridays.) We thank you for taking an interest in our work​ and welcome anyone who wants to come play with us...

Deceptive Return Policies

Purchased a quarter zip pullover in small, although I usually wear a medium, because several of the reviews for that item stated it ran large,and they claim to have free returns so I figured it was worth a try. Had to return it, and they shorted my refund $10 without an explanation. I emailed customer service to inquire what the reduction was for and they responded "Thank you for your email. We do not refund the original shipping charge on orders. Regards, Theresa" Granted, they didn't charge for the return shipping, but other online vendors I have dealt with that state "free returns" refund the full purchase price. When buying clothes online, there's always the possibility they will need to be returned, so it's important to know up-front how returns work. If there's anything on their website that clarifies they don't refund shipping, I have not run across it. So, even though they do have nice stuff (but $$$$), I won't be purchasing from them in the future.

Comfort??? No, guys... Just no.

I'm not one to complain or go out of my way to bash a company but this is an exception.I randomly came across this company when browsing the internet one day and thought, perfect! A slip on golf shoe, love the idea. I couldn't find many reviews of them but they boast comfort and have a clean look so I went for it. I have cuts on both heels from the rubbing of this shoe. By hole 12 was actually bleeding! I sent them the pics to prove it haha. Finished the round barefoot in Michigan in 50 degree weather (it snowed the day before). I reached out to this company and their response was "the shoe is not defective in any way.". Thanks, Theresa. Fantastic customer service there. They also delete negative reviews from their website. It's no wonder why their rating is so high haha ugh. Sad, guys...
