We were due to fly on 18/03/2020. Due to COVID-19 being a British citizen we were not allowed to fly.We booked through BudgetAir. They are refusing to give me a refund, Malaysia airlines will not refund BudgetAir so they can’t refund me.I paid extra for insurance through there selves. One year on they have stated there going in to administration. So the only option I have is to rebook the same flight to Malaysia from Bangkok. I live in Staffordshire!! Do they not realise we are still in lockdown. Last year was going to be a special holiday which unfortunately I can not repeat, so this is not an option. My dream turned into a night mare as we were then stranded in Bangkok. I would like this matter closed with Malaysia airlines. I have never experienced such poor customer service. Personal data privacy breach at Malaysian Airlines. The personal data involved in the incident included Enrich member names,date of birth, gender, contact details, frequent flyer number, frequent flyer status and frequent flyer tier level. Really not acceptable.read more

I have been a loyal ambassador for MAS for over 15 years having flown to KL from London 2-3 times ayear plus internal flights including Firefly.
However my recent experience over a cancelled flight due to Vovid-19 MCO restrictions and a promised (in writing) refund has been very very disappointing. Nearly 6 months on and nothing, excuse after excuse after excuse. Unacceptable. Unless they sort this very quickly I'll be going to KL via Singapore in future (incidentally, that airline refunded a friend in full within a week of asking!)read more

Absolutely disgraceful company!! Do not book with Malaysia Airlines
We booked a flight and accommodation package through Luxury Escapes.Earlier in the year MA cancelled flights due to covid. We have been fighting to get a refund. Firstly LE refused to give a refund so I contacted the accommodation company and MA and they both said this was purchased through LE so I need to go through them. Again back and forth with all parties. Finally got the refund for accommodation but MA will not refund!! Even though they are the ones who cancelled. They are only offering credit for 2021. Who knows when we can travel again (due to restrictions) as well as my mum is no longer able to travel as she's the sole carer for my dad. No compassion at all!!!read more

Great service and food options on the flight from the London to KL. Slight issues with the customerservice on the way back to London but would definitely recommend travelling business class vs some other airlines.read more
