Don't Order a Large Package

I ordered the Antenatal Profile Kit for my wife, first they sent me one without return envelope then they sent another one.The instructions are very confusing as they are all made for the smaller individual tests for example they tell you to post it in a post box but the Kit came in large plastic cylinder which of course doesn't fit in a post box and no one knew how I am supposed to send it. Even the clinic who took the sample said they had no clue and never seen this large kit before. Then the instruction says never ever stick a label to the sample but hand write the details instead but the kit comes with printed labels the same count as the tubes so do you want me to stick a label or not !!! and if not why do you provide them in the kit !!! very confusing !!! Then after they took all the samples and sent them to the lab they came back as partially failed and they asked me for a new 3 tubes sample which of course I didn't go for because I already gave too much blood the first time (6 tubes in total) and I am pregnant. Then I asked for a refund for the missing tests but they refunded me less than 5% of the price I paid because they said that the missing tests are not a lot of blood compared to the ones already done which I don't understand because they asked for half the amount of blood in the first time and when I complained they told me they were not suppose to refund anything and the amount they refunded is just a gesture of good will !!! really really bad service from start to finish.

I was unsure about using them due to other reviews however I was very pleased. I was testing for AMH levels and the kit was fine.The finger jab is straight forward; I needed to use all three lancets (and three fingers) provided to get enough blood but results were back in 4 days and clear report provided. Will use again.

Do not order the self-jab kit - I ordered a cholesterol check and I had to provide my own blood sample.The jabbers don't work well - I could not get hardly any blood. I tried for about 2hr to get a sample, which was returned as it wasn't right, and credit to them, they sent another pack but the same issue - so I've thrown away and given up. Im sure it would have been good if you opted for doctor visit but that wasn't what I went for.

Kits expire after 6 months!!

I have used Medichecks numerous times over the years without issue and purchased a kit for £50.00 in late 2019.Unfortunately Covid hit in early 2020 before I could use the kit, so I decided to do the decent thing and hold off sending non-urgent samples as I knew the laboratories were working to capacity with skeleton staff.
I have just contacted Medichecks to confirm the laboratory address is still the same before I post my bloods, only to be informed that all kits have a ridiculous expiry date of 6 months. I was then informed that expired kits can be reactivated for an additional £25.00 but only within 6 months of expiry and that I should spend another £50.00 and purchase a new kit.
How on earth can a cardboard box, containing a plastic blood sample bottle, expire within 6 months and why is this not clearly communicated at the point of purchase?! What an absolute con!
I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Impossible to book appointment

Have been calling round and round trying to book an appointment with a nurse just to draw the blood for me - which I already paid £30 for,but my chosen hospital "is not available" to answer the call. I'd pass a nurse's course myself quicker than get anything arranged with these people. Shocking for such a price!
