Ich war jahrelang Kunde bei mydomain. Vor einigen Jahren lief alles korrekt ab. Rechnungen waren klar und verständlich. Seit einiger Zeit,klappt einiges nicht mehr. Da bekommt man Rechnungen für Dinge, welche man nicht haben möchte, wie z.B. für Domain Privacy + Protection. In der Rechnung steht aber nicht für welche Domain, wenn man mehrere Domains dort hat, kann man das nicht zuordnen. Weiterhin scheint mydomain Menschen zu beschäftigen, welche einfache Summen nicht berechnen können. Amount Due: $11.33 Tax: $2.47 Total: $15.46 Bei mir kommt als Summe $13.80 heraus. Ich wollte die Sache im Chat klären, kann man vergessen. Dem Mitarbeiter ist nicht mal der Fehler aufgefallen. Ich sollte einen Screenshoot schicken. Hallo???? Ich habe die Rechnung per E-Mail bekommen. Mydomain versteckt sich aber hinter noreply. Es ist auf deren Webseite nirgends eine E-Mailadresse zur Kontaktaufnahme angegeben. Es existiert auch kein Impressum. Zwei Domains von mir sind dort noch in meinem Portfolio eingetragen obwohl diese nicht mehr bei mydomain sind. Diese Domains hatte ich bereits vor zwei Monaten dort abgezogen. Weiter im Text: Eine Domain, welche im Juni erneuert werden muß, dafür habe ich jetzt im April eine Rechnung bekommen. Die Domain habe ich jetzt dort auch abgezogen. Ich kann nur vor mydomain warnen. Keine korrekten Rechnungen, Klärungen dazu nur umständlich möglich. Kein Impressum. Fazit: Finger weg! Übersetzung von google: I was a mydomain customer for years. A few years ago everything went correctly. Invoices were clear and understandable. For some time now, some things have stopped working. You get bills for things you don't want, such as Domain Privacy + Protection. However, the invoice does not state which domain is for which, if you have several domains there, you cannot assign that. Furthermore, mydomain seems to employ people who cannot calculate simple sums. Amount Due: $ 11.33 Tax: $ 2.47 Total: $ 15.46 My total is $ 13.80. I wanted to clarify the matter in the chat, you can forget. The employee didn't even notice the mistake. I should send a screen shoot. Hello???? I received the invoice by email. Mydomain is hiding behind noreply. There is nowhere on their website an email address for contacting them. There is also no imprint. Two domains of mine are still listed there in my portfolio although they are no longer with mydomain. I withdrew these domains from there two months ago. Further in the text: A domain that has to be renewed in June, for which I received an invoice in April. I have now also removed the domain from there. I can only warn against mydomain. No correct invoices, clarifications are only possible with a lot of effort. No imprint. Conclusion: hands off!

Systematic overcharging

Long time customer but have discovered that mydomain.com have been overcharging me for the last two years.They've been passing on domain privacy charges for domains I have never owned. They partially refunded me but the billing is so opaque it is difficult to work out what is going on. I am moving all my domains away at the first opportunity. Check your billing too.

This is the copy of the response that this company gave me when they themselves stayed in 24 hourswith the busy domain of a client that I did not renew on time. however I have domains that expired 5 years ago to availability. They were pioneers in Domain registration going back almost to the beginning of the internet.I have used them since then and still do. They have changed hands at least once to my knowledge although consistent with this type of business you will never find real hard information about the Company you are dealing with on their website. Their automatic systems do enable you to work quite easily although you have no choice now to use chat to search a problem or solve one and all their agents are not all as capable. Transferring a Domain out in theory looks easy BUT the transfer codes do not often work and rather than fixing this they insist on going through the routine of asking you why you want to transfer one out or close something etc. Perhaps they do not know who the CUSTOMER is here and we do NOT have to give a reason. I know from their point of view they need this information but sometimes we have a reason and we just need to do something. However, they will accept that we do not need to explain it and the tone of their Agents is always respectful and courteous.I get mailing from several different sources and it is very IRRITATING that they offer super discounts to new customers that are not valid for existing ones. This is the biggest mistake of any service provider so be prepared to move if it is easy to now and then and always review the sign up bonuses in competitors. After carefully checking Trust pilot first of course! Otherwise I recommend them . Not the most glossy of the Domain/Hosting Managers but one that has stood the test of time and is still around 20 years later. In this sort of business that is a lifetime plus!

Stay away from this registrar!

Awful, shameful, and ignorant chat support. The worst registrar I ever had deal with among many. Theirsystem is deliberately flawed to lock domains by all means for additional 60 day if you change any of registrant contact details no matter you check the box to opt out. That way, I would say, they force users to not transfer out domains away from their registrar. Also, admin details are set to registrar details where you need to change the email address to your own in order to even receive the EPP code and when you do that, wrote it above, the check box to opt out is not working. I'll give them a hard ICANN compliant about their registrar and really hope that they will be removed from face of the Earth.

Awful! They've taken down our site because they wanted icann verification. We never recieved anynotification about this. Their support is totally unable to help apart from to say they're "Sorry we have to experience this". It's been 11 days now as we work through the verification process with them asking for some new documentation every other day when they can be bothered to respond. Zero urgency to help us resolve this, obviously don't care about their customers.
