I wish I could give a zero star review. I placed an order for 5 line items, the order was confirmedand now 6 days later when I called to check on the order after about an hour of getting transferred and dropped calls 4 of the 5 line items are no longer available. I can not begin to express how frustrating this whole experience has been. I will do everything possible to avoid this vendor.

Newark’s statement of unparalleled service is wrong. It’s paralleled by AT&T. Newark sucks and I can’t scream that loud enough.Called Mouser and digi-key who are my normal vendors. They said they were 2-3 days behind shipping next day air orders out. Newark said they could ship it out Monday NDA for a Tuesday delivery. It’s now Thursday, I still don’t have the correct parts. I’ve gotten 2 shipments and they aren’t correct, I just off the phone screamin at the stupid brain dead 3rd world fuctards Newark pays pays pennies a day because that’s all they’re worth. Heed my advise. Order from mouser or digital-key. It might take a couple extra days but your won’t be loosing your mind and a hour a day each day trying to get your parts. Horrid absolutely Horrid !!!!

I am in Canada. Bought two thermal fuse total $1.32 on Newark.com on April 4,2021,I chose USPS INTERNATIONAL Priority mail 6-9 days(there are a lot shipping choices, I thought this is the cheapest) when I did the order. The Website said will send invoice later to show shipping cost.
Received one confirmation email on Monday April 5, showed product cost $1.32, shipping: international priority mail, but not showing the shipping cost. The following Tuesday received an email showed shipping $104.94 and shipped by UPS.
When I saw that email at noon, right away I called and asked to cancel the order, they said already shipped out and rejected my request.
This is a super dishonest company. I chose USPS, they use very expensive two days UPS and not telling you before shipping out. So I was planning to save money buying parts from Newark.com to repair my shop vac, but eventually the money that cheated by Newark can almost buy me two brand new nice shop vac.
Stay away from this dishonest cheating company!!!

Use this site for the first and last time. Don't buy anything from them. Extremely unprofessional.They DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS, even if the product is unopened. They will not respond to your return inquire and all sales are final. No clear description of the products. I do not know how they're still in the business.

They will not honor their warranty

Because the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ I purchased was not directly through them they refused to honor the 1 year warranty they claim it has even with my proof of purchase,this was after 3 days of calling and not being able to contact them. I also sent 2 emails to the address given for warranty issues with no response. When I finally got somebody on the phone to talk about the problems I was having they were extremely rude and I was told they would not honor the warranty. This company is extremely unprofessional and rude.

Poor Customer Service and Website

On March 8, I found inventory of a r-chip that I was looking for on their website and immediately setup an account and purchased the parts with my credit card.The order status went to pending. Their website says parts that are in stock ship ASAP but may take up to 4 or 5 working days (something like that). By the end of the 5th business day, I still did not hear back from as to when my order would ship. I used the "Live Chat", but due to a poor network connection or whatever, I kept on getting cut off. Finally I decided to call the toll free number, which is not toll free from outside the United States. The customer service representative on the phone could not find my order or my customer number. Out of frustration, I hung up and tried the "Live Chat" again. The representative said that there were export restrictions and that my order will not be fulfilled. So I asked her again to make sure to cancel the order. She said yes it had been cancelled, but even today, the order status still shows pending.
A few issues and complaints
1. I had ordered the same part from avnet.com (their parent company's website) and they shipped my parts to my requested location. No export restrictions whatsoever. Then why does Newark claim that there are export restrictions?
2. I suspect that Newark never had the parts in stock, since it was noted that the order would be fulfilled by Avnet. When I placed the order to Avnet and they shipped the part to me I suspect that Newark had no inventory to sell, but instead of telling the truth, they made up the export restriction excuse. The available stock on their website disappeared shortly after I placed my order.
3. If the order has been cancelled, then why is the status on newark.com still pending? And why couldn't the phone representative find my order?
4. I sent email to their customer service, but it was never responded to.
Anyway....just not a very pleasant experience! Caveat emptor! Really think twice before giving them your personal and credit card information.

Being in the electrical parts field for 36 years, Newark Element 14 was a pretty standard go-to on a regular basis (pretty much daily).I think the calls were out of the Cleveland area when you were inquiring about price and delivery. A while back that was all shifted to India now I believe. The service has slipped huge. Hard to hear (poor headsets?) and harder to understand, they are unwilling to provide expected dates, completely stonewall you on expedites, and if you press for the expected-by date of an item, politely mind you, they simply hang up on you. I've shifted over to the far superior Allied Electronics. Sure do miss the days of good service from Newark. In their reply, they're asking for an order number. It wasn't an order, it was a price and delivery on a Honeywell GLAA01D. They provided price and said they couldn't provide a delivery date. Please note. It wasn't a 'can't provide delivery date at this moment', it was 'can't provide a delivery date, and that's the way it is. No, we will not get back to you'. I pressed on the fact that I needed to tell my customer *when* they would receive the limit switch, politely mind you, but the answer came back 3x the same thing. Then they simply hung up on me. For real.

total scam website. I was checking the price of an item and wanted to determine the cost with shipping,so I entered my billing info and address. after I entered my info I saw the total and did not complete the order. 2 minutes later I receive an email that they completed my order (without me selecting this) and double charged the transaction.
emailed the support immediately, then got back to me days later after they shipped it and did not provide any solutions.. essentially just a shady website that is fraudulent while acting like a normal business. STAY AWAY from Newark!!!
