I have been watching PAD YouTube videos for close to a year. I find his detailed explanation to every step of making his rings entertaining,relaxing and informative. So on 3/25/21 I ordered the Winters Howl ring after doing live chat and emails back and forth for a few days as questions and concerns popped into my head.
*Con: YouTube gives an unrealistic view on how long it can take to make each ring. (A couple hours or a day to cut, size, carved inlay channel, sand and polish. Then maybe another hour or so to do the inlay, cure resin, sand and final polish.)
*Warring: Not really a Con per-say but more of a warning. For those who don’t know, the colors you see online can and will be different in different types of lighting. i.e artificial, sunlight, LED. When I ordered this ring, I was under the impression the the glow color would be a darker blue then what it actually is. During daylight, the blue pigment shows as a medium/light aqua to light royal blue.
*Pros: The quality of this ring can be described as “flawless“. This ring Incorporates tanzanite and blue opal and the amount of each material was well balanced and truly a prime example of amazing craftsmanship.
From the time this order was placed to the delivery of the product was just shy of 8 weeks. I was worried that even though I ordered this ring at the end of March, it would not arrive by my boyfriends birthday in July. For my experience, this fear was unfounded. Another fear was the unknown size. My boyfriend does not have another ring that I could sneakily get his size from nor did I want to try and give him the ring sizer as this would ruined the surprise. Through contact with customer service and their live chat, I was assured that this ring is covered under the 30day, satisfaction guarantee. If it doesn’t fit, they would send another that will.
**Update**
I have ordered a ring for myself and I can’t wait to see it. I am however disappointed with the mail service that lost the first ring sizer as I don’t know what the new size of my finger is after it being broken and had to have surgery to repair it. Customer service was wonderful when I informed them that after three weeks I had not received the ring sizer, so they sent another and even gave me a tracking number to ensure that I knew when it would be delivered.
The reason why I gave 4/5 stars is because of the amount of automated messages being sent while trying to get questions answered and some generic less than detailed explanation to the question.
I would highly recommend this company for anybody looking for a unique ring. Granite the wait can be long, as it’s definitely not a overnight assembly job, but we’ll worth it at the end.

From start to finish, working with Patrick Adair Designs has been a delight. Watching their YouTube videos sold me on the craftmanship and care they take in their work.Then working with customer service, they helped educate me on the best way to make the vision in my head come to life.
As for the ring itself, it's fantastic! Super lightweight, the carbon fiber is a fantastic black, and the ring itself does exactly what I was hoping it would do.
As they warn you, it takes between 4-8 weeks to get your ring. They don't make these on conveyor belt assembly lines, so each ring takes some time to hand make. The wait was well worth it, though. Even better, we were cutting it close on my estimated delivery date before my wedding, so I asked them if they could make sure I got it by the 6 week mark they estimated. They ensured me they'd get it to me on time, and sure enough it got to me just a few days shy of 6 weeks.

I think kikstarter was the problem for some people. I recieved a beautiful ring and after a little miscommunication they even sent a FREE CASE!I love these people and God Bless them! I think those ending up losing their money probably had it coming, karmatically speaking (or however it relates to a Christian!) WILL do business with these folks again and again and again!
