Monthly rate for 10GB lower than anyone else. Veterans discount. Great coverage. I was able to switch my IPhone 7 over with no problem.I did need to configure my messaging for MMS but that was simple. Very happy with this service.

Worst experience imaginable. I would not recommend this carrier to anyone. What should have been a simple activation of two phones turned into a bloody nightmare.Three separate shipments of SIM cards and we end up with two phone lines and no service. The ineptitude of their staff leaves us speechless. The tech people repeated the same mistakes on two occasions and ported the wrong number to our device. One of the SIM cards shipped had no data on it at all. Avoid Patriot Mobile at all cost.
We’re holding our noses and going back to AT&T.

As a patriotic conservative American I really wanted this to work for us. I was paying $150 a month to AT&T and Patriot Mobile was charging me 108 for the same shirts.But from the day we started this process I had nothing but trouble withour phones. At first they gave us T-Mobile cards but we were not getting good service with them at all. So they sent me AT&T Sim cards. But when we put them in my phone would not work at all! And when we tried to put the T-Mobile Sim card back in my phone still would not come on although my husband’s did. I will say every time we called I spoke to an actual person who understood me and I could understand them. And they all tried to help! Customer service is not a problem. But for some reason they could just not get my phone to work. The T-Mobile Sim card turned the phone on but I was unable to send texts or pictures to several members of my family. We tried the process three times! But my husband uses his phone for work and I am disabled and need to have a usable phone. So after 2 1/2 months we went back to AT&T which cost me a lot of money! Very disappointing! I will say it took more than four days to get all three phones on my plan to work. Patriot Mobile cannot seem to break the contact with our phone.

I purchased their Motorola G Fast and have had no issues with coverage. They did initially send me the wrong SIM card which was for Sprint and there is only one Sprint tower in my area.They sent a new SIM(T-mobile) free of charge and it even looked like they applied a promo that had only started a week after I signed up so I ended up with a $20 credit. I was also able to use a promo code, BECK, so the activation fee was waived.
When I had the SIM card problem, I had no issues getting through to a live person and was easily served in under 5 minutes on the 3 calls I made. One of the other calls I made was in transferring my Google Voice number which it was hard to tell if it was working(I found you need to use your voicemail PIN to unlock it for the carrier). After trying this a few times and wondering what I got wrong, I called Patriot and within minutes they were able to tell my phone number transfer was just processing so I just needed to wait a few hours up to 48 hours(it took about 24hrs). After that I had no issues.
I also love that at $35(3GB of data) they include hotspot. Many plans from other carriers required you to buy higher priced plans, some even requiring the unlimited plan to get hotspot capability but Patriot has it from $35 on up. As far as I can tell, whatever GB plan you get that is how much you can use unlike something like Mint where you are limited to 5GB no matter your plan.

- responsive and knowledgeable staff
- good price vs major carriers
- hotspot included on lower plans
- supports conservative values
- no issues with call quality or coverage so far(I actually found call quality better than my AT&T iphone provided by my work)
Cons
- selection of phones could use major improvement
- description of phones could be much better
- limitations, if any, could be better explained as I'm not entirely sure if there is a limit on hotspot GB
- be able to change plan via web instead of calling
Other
- maybe a discount for autopay as many other MVNOs offer
- possibly offer insurance on phones
- maybe start an Ebay store where they sell compatible used phones to increase their selection, price range and eliminate worry about whether it will work or not on their network
- improve activation process so it is more informative

Dealing with this incompetent company was an absolute nightmare. Signing up went smoothly and I looked forward to their service,particularly because I am a conservative Christian and was so happy to support the business.
I inserted the SIM card and followed the instructions for activation. Nothing. I could neither call out or receive calls. I emailed them repeatedly and never heard back. one very frustrating day.
The next day I borrowed my daughter's phone and called them. The woman I spoke with couldn't help me and transferred me to technology. After 5 minutes a giggling absolute idiot answered. I couldn't understand one word she said. I kept asking her to repeat what she was saying. She hung up on me.
I called back, and this time I was told that the phone I have, iPhone s, was due to be dropped soon anyway.
No one mentioned this when I signed up. Thanks.
I hung up and went to Consumer Cellular.

My wife and I switched from Verizon to Patriot Mobile 2 weeks ago. It was the worst decision we could’ve made.Neither of us has had more than 2 bars of service since switching, this past weekend neither of us had more than 1 bar and it kept coming in and out. Very LOUSY service. We WILL be switching to something else TODAY.
