Simply love it

5 star. Things to improve: - more frequent catalog update - adding custom parts with photos - automaticredirection to regional website (sometimes I forget and add a part on the US website and it puts USD as currency to my build)

Good website to plan your build

Used it 2 times when I was planning to get a new pc for my parents and half a year ago when upgrading. Both times everything turned out great and I had no compatibility issues whatsoever. My only problem with pcpartpicker is that it doesn't have all the parts in its database, sometimes even if they aren't recent releases (around 1-2 years old)

the place is a great site to pick your pc parts, and for those saying things like "oh the compatability checker is wrong" or something, why didn't you open up google and looked up the info you needed on your own? anyway, my main issue you can see in the "case accessories" where basically 90% of the things have been out of stock for quite a while, it would be nice if pcpartpicker did something like remove the items from the list if the item had been out of stock for more than a certain amount of time

Does a great job for what it's supposed to do

There's not too much to say about the site as it just works, it's very easy to quickly put together apart list with no hassle whatsoever. The only thing I think they could improve is adding more retailers, but other than that it's fine as is.

This is a brilliant website

Reviewed on 2020-08-01T23:27:42

This is a brilliant website, thank you so much for setting up and maintaining such a useful site.Absolutely invaluable for building a pc. A couple of small suggestions, at least one of the retailers, Newegg.com, do not include GST in their pricing (with area set to Australia), as they are not Australian based. They also charge pretty extortionate postage so the pricing is not very indicative of true cost. They look like the cheapest but are actually the most expensive once these factors are taken into account. It is easy to remove them from the merchant list though so not a huge deal. It would be good if it was indicated which sellers charge for freight and which do not (there is a shipping column but it is mostly empty). Also if I could recommend an Australian seller missing - cplonline.com.au. If you need volunteers to help maintain information accuracy I would be happy to. Cheers.

They haven't got all the items

They haven't got all the items I was looking for as they must have removed it for some reason like the MSI Tomahawk Max motherboard. It was on there before but not now? Why? Not all items are on the list, must have done this during Covid-19 as it was fine before. It need a revamp.
