Dreadful, dreadful experience.

I am seething about this company. Over a month without internet, hours and hours wasted on the phone,normally on hold, repeatedly lied to, sent bills even whilst we have no internet, still with no clear idea of when we will have internet. At a time when many people are needing to work from home. Dreadful, dreadful experience. It turns out I am not alone. Would strongly recommend an investigation into this company.

this is the third time i am reviewing plusnet due to a constant clusterf++k of issues.mainly i leftin aug 2020 have been charged several times from that time till today.i have been on the phone 4 times during this time to state im not one of their customers anymore everytime i get the same response.we will fix this for you so you wont have this problem anymore.well your failing miserably to the fact that the last email i got from you you were saying if i don't pay you will send the hounds of hell,i mean a 3rd party debt collection agency on me.i have finally lost my patience with this and thats me phoned up a 5th time now.i really think you should not even have my details after 7 months of being left your company??.is that not breaking data protection laws because i don't want you to have my details hanging around on your computers when i don't even belong to your company.if anyone from plusnet reads this here is my ticket number so you can get this monkey off your back...208925022..i must stress if this keeps happening and my credit score gets effected by this i will be looking for compensation due to this should of been sorted months ago

Broken promises for engineers visits, Broadband still not working , their Tech Support team asked me ‘is your router plugged in?’ .....poor,poor, poor service.... avoid ... I scored 1 as 0 was not an option!

The worst Telecom company in the UK if not the world.

Absolutely avoid this company if you can, if not make sure that you have enough anti stress medication as possible.Their customer support staff are useless, the old adage “if you pay peanuts you get monkeys” is definitely true here. I was moving my existing telecom service to Plusnet, a transfer date was agreed and that I could take my existing number with me. Then just days before the agreed date Plusnet told me that transfer date could not be meet and that I would loose my existing number and also I would be without telecom service for 7 days. Despite numerous telephone calls and email messages to Plusnet they could not honour their existing agreement with, in the end I decided to cancel my agreement with Plusnet and take my business elsewhere and they couldn’t have cared less. SO BEWARE SHOP ELSEWHERE.

Terrible - the internet doesn't exist for 30% of the day. I call wait 2 hours, get told they are delivering 'on their end'as expected. I do a wifi test on the phone with them and am getting 0.01 Mbps despite our promised rate being much higher. They could care less. Honestly fraudulent this company, do not use

Happy Customer - Ready to renew

Been with Plusnet for nearly 16 months, so approaching the end of my contract. The router drops internet almost daily,but I just hold the Reset button and it’s fine again within a couple minutes - not a huge issue. I’ve been with other providers, including Sky, TalkTalk, BT and the horrendous Vodafone, all of which also had regular dropouts. I have to admit Plusnet has been the best. During the first lockdown, my internet would drop every 20 minutes, but after speaking with a technical advisor (in their UK contact centre), he helped me set up a different frequency and I now get 75Mbps - just checked using fast.com. For things like my TV (for streaming) and my iMac (for work), I use a wired connection, which is always preferable to get a solid fast connection. I started looking on U-Switch this morning for other providers, but found the awful providers just entice new customers with ‘£100 Amazon vouchers’. Realised I don’t actually need to switch. Thanks Plusnet :)

Terrible broadband speeds, router was poor, wi-fi kept dropping out and couldn't reach through the house...I have a small house. Never had this issue before with anyone else. Customer services were okay but by far the worst experience I've ever had with any internet provider overall. Never again.

Only got one as I could not score 0! The broadband is extremely unreliable. It is 21:05 and I do not have a Broadband available at all,during the day it’s on and off. I spoke to customer services on number of occasions since January nothing has change. I do not know what those people are paid for utterly useless, clueless service. Keep away from PlusNet -my advice.
