You Have the Right to Dispute Qobuz' No-Refund-Under-Any-Circumstance Policy

I recently purchased digital albums from Qobuz. One of the albums has defective tracks (full of static noise).Qobuz promised to contact the recording company to obtain a non-defective album. A full month passed and it failed to deliver. Qobuz, via its representative, Sébastien, refused my refund request for that album on the ground that it "cannot provide any refunds on purchased music in any circumstance" because the recording companies do not allow refund. Such response is unethical and unacceptable under applicable laws. I purchased the album from Qobuz, not from the recording company. If I have the right to return a defective product to Walmart or Amazon, why do I not have the same right? Qobuz operates a for-profit business; it is not running a charity. Its no-refund-under-any-circumstance position is totally unacceptable. I was left with no choice but to dispute the amount with PayPal (mere $7.78), and PayPal ruled in my favor. Qobuz is a cheap company! Consumers should know how to exercise their rights with Qobuz.

First of all i don't understand why Qobuz has such Negative reviews??? Ive been with tidal for years and like others was very interested in MQA.I can honestly say what a disappointment it is. The sound from MQA is not what i expected, in comparison to Qobuz HiRes it sounds compressed to me and lacks finesse. I use a dac that has full MQA unfold. I have found most of my favorite music on Qobuz and for me the sound quality is fantastic. Most of the music i like is 24 bit and sounds great.
Now don't get me wrong tidal hifi tracks do sound good but Quboz is better. I'm currently using Roon and switch between providers listening to the same track and Qobuz wins for me.

The best in soundquality and customer service. I quit Tidal and joined Qobuz. Qobuz offers true hi res.I dont understand those negative reviews. Qobuz is truly the best in soundquality and their catalogue is huge. Also customer service is very quick to reply. Im fully satisfied.

Tried Spotify, Tidal (hifi) and Apple Music, Qobuz blows all of these out of the water for sound quality on my Naim equipment,very easy to navigate on Qobuz and Naim app, definitely staying with these guys!

After reading the bad reviews here I decided to go ahead and buy a couple of albums from this website.I don't stream music, so I figured that I wouldn't run into any of the issues people were having with customer service and many people said that the quality was still good regardless of how bad the company might be. Unfortunately, every song I downloaded from the two albums I purchased have a very loud static cut near the end. It's loud enough to pretty much ruin every song. I can also ensure that this problem is in the downloads and not my equipment. My assumption is that they add an intentional clip at the end of the song to prevent copyright, but having a song clip could literally trash my equipment.
