Still waiting paid in December

I ordered and paid for my bike in December, still waiting! I have had to keep emailing Rad for updates,they blamed the Suez Canal blockage and Brexit I am in Ireland so not sure why Brexit would affect me, I have been given early June as a possible delivery date but wish I could get my money back at this stage

Radrunner plus. Waited 5 months but love it

This is both a good and bad review. I think I can beat most people here in that I actually waited 5 months for my bike to arrive ?.It was during winter, which helped! My radrunner plus finally arrived a couple of weeks ago after ordering in November. I had no means of tracking or any idea when it would arrive, meaning constant chasing and expensive phonecalls. I was pretty chilled as I realised Brexit had messed them up and they had a lot to deal with so I was patient and polite but did get a little miffed near the end. Agree with previous comments about accessories coming in and out of stock which has meant I'm still waiting for what I need to make it work for me. I bought the bike to get my kid to school and I can't fault it now it's here, it's absolutely brilliant and we love going to and from school on it. It gets up the hills easy and I live in a very very hilly area. The throttle is boss! Much better performance than my previous orbea ebike. It's a LOT of fun to ride and is now my main vehicle I even sold my car ?. I suspect that after Brexit, they had given our UK bikes to others despite being pre-ordered and we had to wait for another round of availability. That's just how it felt to me. So that's pretty dishonest. They need more staff and stock for the demand for sure. But...I really do bloody love it I have to say so all's well that ends well! A full cargo bike that's made school runs a laugh for half the price of others? Fair enough. Sort it out though guys.

Where is my bike!

I ordered on the 29th March thinking it would take up to 3 weeks. Got an update on the 29th April to say it's shipped but they didn't give a tracking number.No update since and no bike as of 19th May. I can see other people are having a similar problem. I called them and did manage to get through to a helpful lady who said they are awaiting delivery with UPS and basically hold tight until UPS decides to deliver it! All a bit weird. I think the company is legit and I will get the bike.. but they should have kept me more up to date with what's going on given the price of the order. Certainly, an apology for the delay would be nice!

I ordered Rad on 6 of April 2021 nearly 6 weeks now. They updated my order on the way on 4 /5/21.I contacted customer service ask them for UPS tracking number. They could not provide me that. They couldn’t answer my question when my order will be delivered

Edit: New levels of incompetence, not just in UK but Ireland too. Two people there waiting for their bikes were called (after 3 weeks)by the appointed delivery agent to be told that their package was too heavy to deliver! My own bike has been in UK for about 2 weeks now with no word of delivery, nor means of tracking. Original Review: I am having the same (non)delivery experience as others in UK. The 'Brexit' delivery delay was 2-3 weeks when I ordered on 26 March but subsequently changed on their site to 4-6 week. After 5 weeks I got notification that my order had left Utrecht and today I have been told (after much complaining) that it is in UK but they have no idea when it will be delivered. The previous reviewer was hoping to get notification from UPS but I was told that they have not yet started using that carrier. From social media I can see people waiting weeks from the time their bikes arrive in UK, only to have them dumped at their address with no notice. It might not be so bad if these big-ticket items had not been paid for at the time of ordering. Also, please note that Rad Power are not addressing TrustPilot bad reviews either for the EU operation or the US company.

Ordered my Rad bike 6 weeks ago said it was in stock so thought ok should be fine up to 4- 6 weeks delivery!( stated on web site ) After 4 weeks thought I would drop them a line to see how my order was going when I had sent the email it says allow time for a reply. Ok and then within 24 hours I got an email saying it was being picked and loaded for despatch ! Strange as I had just sent that email. Another email then followed saying they were sorry for the delay but the rad was on its way and would be arriving in the next week. After another week , week 5 I sent another email again after 2 days I got a reply saying it was definitely in the uk at their distribution area in a container awaiting unpacking and despatch via UPS as that is who they use now tracking will follow ! Another week now just at week 6 no bike and no further communication from them. So now what do I do? First bike last September after ordering arrived in 5 days via DPD and they are now blaming Brexit for this? But I can’t see it myself as I have just had a replacement toaster from the Neatherlands sent from Kitchen Aid took 5 days came DPD. My guess after seeing all the reviews is they do not have any stock and are awaiting stock to despatch out but why not be honest about it if they don’t have the bikes I wouldn’t have orderd again and gone somewhere else. First time great experience 5 stars ⭐️ Secound time awful experience can’t say as I am still waiting to see if I will ever receive the bike? Comunication is ok and they do reply but how long can they fob you off before your realise you are not getting the true story.

Recently purchased a RAD Rhino the bike lives up to the great reviews I have read about RAD E bikesbut sadly I’m finding out that the customer service does not live up to the hype . I received an e Mail from RAD EU on the 29 th March to say an item I’ve been waiting for since December had due to stock replenishment now become available. Great I thought paid and placed my order immediately same day but here we are 4 weeks later and the item is still sat in the distribution centre in the Netherlands. On contacting RAD several times it comes to light that they are not despatching single items to customers , the item gets picked and placed on a vehicle destined for the U.K. but this does not leave until vehicle is full. Several more e mails to RAD first they tell me the vehicle fills very quickly and it is likely to leave by the end of the week , at the end of the week still no communication stating despatched so I contact them again . Now they are saying despatch is delayed and the item has still not left them but still know indication when it will leave . This is really concerning I’m reading on Facebook I’m not alone there are loads of people awaiting delivery’s from RAD they are all complaining about both poor delivery times and lack of communication by the company . Buying online may be cheaper but I am at this point wishing I had bought local a lesson learnt .
