Ordered two Fulton Sconces from RL Home. Package arrived with damaged, rusted hardware.Screws could not be mounted and tips broke off 2 of the internal screws due to rust. The decorative mounting screws had scratches and permanently tarnished edges along with rusted interiors making them impossible to thread. Complete junk!
Contacted RL Customer Service to initiate an exchange (as the area had already been constructed and one sconce had already been installed). Spoke with Supervisor "Tanya" who assured me she would send a Return Authorization email to me "within 24 hrs". That email never arrived so I initiated another call to them, 48 hrs later - this time with "Jessica" who assured me she would have a supervisor get right back to me because no one was available at the present time. I have yet to receive any further reply from RL.
I will never again order through Ralph Lauren or any of its affiliates. Save yourself the disappointment and hassle. RL is a poorly managed company with inferior products & apparently aware of such as they refuse to honor basic standards of fair trade. When a customer notifies a company upon receipt of damaged merchandise, the expectation is for them to step-up and rectify the situation, starting with an apology. If a company does not do that - you're wasting your time doing any further business with them.
Of note, I'm a builder/developer and order hundreds of light fixtures every year - this does not happen with reputable retailers. Don't be fooled by the RL that once stood for quality - nothing could be further from the truth.read more

I had a good experince with RL Customer service, my item was late due to the courier but they sortedthe issue out and did everthing they could to help and replied to my customer service emails promptly. There are much much worse levels of service out there than RL - I would order from them again no problem.read more

Purchased a £200 jumper which had feature 'RL' buttons to shoulder. Sent to friend in post & when it arrived one of buttons was cracked in half!Called customer service, NO we will not sell any replacement buttons!! What AWFUL customer service for such a supposedly 'up market' company! Will not be buying any RL again!!read more

On Feb 21, 2021, I purchased a gift card online at ralphlauren.com. I received the card on 24 Feb.So I was very pleased with the shipping time. I presented this as a birthday gift on 9 Mar. On 14 Mar, the recipient attempted to use the gift card in store and was told there was nothing on the card at checkout. I immediately went online to check the status of the card and received a message that the card was invalid.
The first time I called customer service, I was told there was something wrong with the gift card system and to use another form a payment in store until it was sorted out. This defeats the purpose of purchasing a gift card for someone. The point is for them to purchase items on me. I receive an email approximately 30 minutes later saying it was sorted out and they were able to verify the amount on the card. I called back because the amount was incorrect and when attempting to check online it was still saying the card was invalid.
The second call, the customer service rep could not tell me why the incorrect amount was loaded or why the card was invalid so I was given the option of them invalidating the already invalid card and them sending another card with the correct amount or keeping the invalid card that they were saying was now working and sending a second card with the rest of the missing balance. I opted to receive a refund to take my business elsewhere. I am currently awaiting a confirmation email on the refund.read more

Awful! Awful! Awful! Returned some items more than a month ago for a substantial amount of money.Called once was told it was received here but sent to warehouse to Italy, so need to sort things there. Called second time a girl promised to chaise the return and come back to me within 24 hours. Never happened. Called third time...Grant put me to UPS? Why ? They can see the order was received. Called 4th time- Gabriel hang up on me!!!?? Called 5th time spoke to Garry who promised me that a refund to be issued today... waiting...a month later.

Horrible greedy company, returned a hoodie because the sizing was shockingly bad, attached the UPSlabel but because the only UPS centre locally had closed had to send it with local post and paid €11.50 to do so, was told the warehouse wont accept the package because not UPS even though it had the label, probably to much effort to scan it, screw the working man to add to the billion dollar company's profits.read more
