A complete mess

Their website is a mess despite they (tried) made an update on it not so long ago.Translation never was and still not complete, functions are not working well. I also have +Renfe card since I use their service quite often but I am not able to reach my online account and manage it. After 1 year and many phone calls even more emails finally they told me they can't fix my problem. Thanks for spending my time for nothing!

Terrible! Website totally unclear and useless ! No help and impossible to buy easily a ticket ,the same for the app ! Delays and trains really old style and unsafe stations ! I asked for support to the train crew about a change and the answer was : I don’t know !!! A shame

I very much recommend Renfe. I happened to go from Leon to burgos on the 1st of jan 2021,today moving to another city. I was a bit late for the train so I had to rush. The gentleman at the desk helped me cary one suitcase and ran to the train with me handing me over to other two gents who work in the train . One of them explained that I had lots of luggage and it was not allowed in the train but I asked if I can pay for it and he said that's also not allowed but he advised to not do it the next time. They helped me with the suitcases for boarding and I took my train. I am so thankful and grateful. The seats too are comfortable and the train is very cleaned and individuals spaced. Overall for me it's very accommodating and nice. Thank you renfe for having trained your staff amazingly in Leon. Bless you.

9 MONTHS FOR A REFUND. BOOKED WITH TRAINLINE WHO ARE EQUALLY USELESS,ASKED ME TO CONTACT RENFE,FILLEDOUT ALL THE RENFE FORMS,NOW 9 MONTHS LATER RENFE TELL ME TO CONTACT TRAINLINE. THESE GUYS SHOULD BE WEARING MASKS AND STRIPED SHIRTS WHEN THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY.THEY TAKE AGES TO REPLY TO EMAILS ANSWER NONE OF MY QUESTIONS.TERRIBLE SERVICE,AVOID RENFE AND TRAINLINE IF POSSIBLE

Deplorable. Disorganized and chaotic; broken ticket machines, thieving conductors, etc.It's shameful that they treat locals and travellers the way they do. They should be fined and put out of business.

Awful Customer Service, careful paying contactless!

Well, more than 3 weeks waiting for a response to my complaint about a triple charge (don't pay with contactless,people in Chamartin Officess are pointless) This was at the beginning of November, and they keep adding new steps to the process, call here, now there, send an email...endless and useless, is almost 90% of bad reviews not enough to learn something??? Renfe should put hands on desk and fix the customer service, which is awful!

The web page is terrible! It is difficult to purchase a ticket, it is slow, unresponsive and unclear. Tried to connect to the on board wifi...well, the login page takes about 10 mins to load and when it does and you enter your details it goes blank!
