better to pay a few dollars more elsewhere.

Reviewed on 2020-06-01T08:19:38

In future, I will pay a few dollars more elsewhere. 84 $ tax refund became Net 15 $ due to the outstanding Customer Service of the SamAsh team.Taking into account about 68 messages and moreover various chat and phone conversations to get anything at all, this customer experience is a complete waste of time. Furthermore, 2 out of 7 packages wrongly addressed, complete and utter neglect of very specific shipping requests during the 15 Months this process lasted. Hopeless. As one will understand, it is unlikely that I will buy here again. When buying cheap, one gets what one pays for. Good stuff first: called in from Asia, and got best price in market on a 12xx $ Yamaha product. Now the interesting stuff. 2018 Nov : BUYER: sent enquiry for 7 microphones and asked recommendation SAMASH: no answer Dec29 BUYER: Sent enquiry for 12xx $ Yamaha product SAMASH: will come back shortly 2019 Jan7 price agreed Jan 19 SAMASH: order confirmed Jan20 SAMASH: received payment authorisation Order shipped Jan 21: package arrives at Forwarder and is shipped to Asia at buyers' expense. Jan 24 BUYER: submitted documents for sales tax refund (as item left USA) Jan27: SAMASH: processing. May8: BUYER: what happened with the tax refund May28: SA : please resend documents (same as from Jan24) BUYER: Sent! AUG 5: BUYER: Did not receive Refund. SAMASH: please send another document. About October 15-22 phone conversation: SAMASH: we have Tax money for you but since it took so long cannot credit back to amex. Shall I send you a check? BUYER: No thanks, that will take weeks and moreover cost a large amount to cash in. Please give me store credit. (USD 84) SAMASH: done. Then Website goes offline for about a month as region blocked. No answer when complaining about that. DEC 1: request order to be placed for 121.82 by email Dec 2 : place order for 121.82 and ask by phone for store credit to be applied. (E-mail no answer) SAMASH: “No worries I just have to cancel this order and re-write it using your store credit. Sorry for the delay!” E-mail confirms that action is being taken. SAMASH: order shipped. DEC 14: BUYER: Where is my package? SAMASH: we received it back. BUYER: my address details are good, please resend. 2020 Jan 7: BUYER: did not receive order. Jan 18: SAMASH: the order was refunded to Amex beginning of December BUYER: refund not received. Jan 25: BUYER: asks for resolution Feb 7: Buyer : asks for resolution Feb 14: BUYER: asks for a solution Feb 22: on Chat as no reply on e-mail: SAMASH: Actually the money was not refunded and we have given you a store credit. BUYER: Thank you for timely telling me. So now you owe me 121.84 for the shipment that without applying store credit was first sent to the wrong customer, and then returned, and after that cancelled without telling me. Furthermore, you owe me $ 84 from Tax Refund concerning January 2019. I will put a new order in but Please make sure I receive all in one box so I pay forwarding charges only one time. Buyer email writes another email::  so we can send everything in one shipment only, to avoid the outrageous shipping costs. SamAsh however choose to Ship about 1 kilogram of strings and small stuff in FIVE boxes, so buyer had to pay about 98 $ forwarding cost including $ 7.99 for correcting an again wrong address, instead of $ 27. Mar 1: Buyer complains about shipping and ensuing cost SAMASH: I do apologize about this I've send an email to my managers to see what we could do for you. I will keep you posted thanks! Mar 30: BUYER: any further thoughts on this? April 24: BUYER: "" if there is nothing to add from your side, I will assume SamAsh agrees with the summary, and that SamAsh is not against reporting thereof, and the events leading to this apparent lack of attention to customers’ interests, on appropriate platforms and in surveys. Thank you for your time, and best of luck. Stay healthy. "" Jun 1 : Still no answer on date of posting this review.
