Very bad support!
They promised me to send for free the replacement board for DeskPi Pro Case,because of known defect (h**s:// deskpi.com / blogs/news/deskpi-pro-is-in-stock-now)
They told me to wait late March/first days of April, I tried to write them during this period, I get no reply.
I've tried to contact the support team and the order team, no reply at all
Very bad support !!!!

I ordered 12 different items from Seeed and they all arrived well packed, in their own individually sealed bags and boxes with technical details and instructions.After placing my order, my postal tracking number disappeared from the website - but the customer services were quick to reply to my email and provide the tracking number. The shipping time was as expected (2 weeks), as it was shipped from China. Good service.

Avoid Seeed Studio at all costs

You have been warned. We purchased the RPLIDAR S1 directly from Seeed Development Limited (a.k.a.Seeed Studio), on pre-order. Information came to light that it is not, in fact, an omnidirectional laser and that it's accuracy is far from what is advertised (see the Sparkfun demonstration for further details). If you are to purchase an RPLIDAR, please do it through a re-seller such as Robotshop or Sparkfun, as dealing directly with Seeed will lead to trouble.
We used Paypal to purchase the RPLIDAR S1, believing that it would protect us from seller's fraud. Unfortunately, this company is purposely using tactics to deceive customers and leverage Paypal's arbitration process in their favor.
A case was originally opened with Paypal because a refund was requested **prior to shipment**. Seeed ignored the refund request, shipped the product, then contacted me directly asking to "drop the Paypal case". I explained that we did not want the product, and asked for a refund, providing them with information and recipient details, but they refused to acknowledge such communications. They claim they "never received the e-mail", though there were no undeliverable notifications from my carrier, and their mail servers are working. For example, I received another e-mail from them today indicating "you have picked up your package, so now please drop the Paypal case". In each instance, they are ignoring the original problem.
I repeat --- Seeed Studio does not historically honor their refund commitments nor arrange to receive returns for products. They have purposely ignored a refund request, shipped a product anyway, and are now asking PayPal (and me) to close the case. As other reviews will attest, the quality of these products is so poor as to be functionally unusable in any even meager project. Their only hope to make a profit is by purposely deceiving customers.

Ordered PCBs with production note that bottom had no solder mask, they arrived with masking on bottom layer,when I complained they tried to scam me into paying more money claiming that immersion gold without mask would cost more, isnt the finish applied irrespective of the fact that there is solder masking or not? no replies now and I cant use the PCB.
Avoid at all cost, terrible service and quality

Purchased a 5" 720x1280 hdmi ips lcd display. Have had it over a month and still not working with any of my video devices.One desktop, One laptop, One Raspberry Pi4 Support is of no help. The device is defective and seeed will not exchange it or refund. What a waste of $50.00.

Their support is awful.
I tried to use their piezo sensor to detect when my washing machine had finished,I thought it would be a fun project. Their website states that the sensor is suitable for this, however after testing it out I couldn't get it to detect anything.
This is when I decided to contact their support. I asked a couple of simple questions, namely how to use it to detect washing machines and the direction in which to rotate the sensor screw to adjust sensitivity. 5 replies later and they haven't answered either of the questions. I don't believe they can speak english very well and I also believe the support have no idea about how any of the products actually work.
Additionally, all of their components require a special 'hat' adapter which costs a lot more than the components individually. You are better off buying them from another provider.
Overall, one of the funniest and most frustrating companies I have ever had to contact. I recommend avoiding at all costs.

You won't get parts nor your money back

While they have uniquely useful parts, there is a low chance of receiving them nor getting your money back.
Issues:
- Courier listed was not the courier they used.This is an issue when some couriers deliver to homes, some to businesses, and some only to post boxes.
- Even if you were shipped a product from their "US warehouse", the product is returned to China, and they won't do anything for you until that happens.
- Multiple customer service agents mean you get a different answer on the day, but none of them hold.
Escalated refund to PayPal and Credit Card, after a month of back and forth.
If possible, avoid.
If they're the only ones that have something you need, confirm courier of part from warehouse with them in writing, ignoring what the checkout form says.

The Seeed site is difficult to use, links and buttons oftentimes glitch and require a little bit of a hassle to use.The shipping costs are high, and notice of the DHL warehouse shut down was not widely published. Receiving a package in a timely matter was not possible due to the 1-3 day shipping being sent out 2 weeks after order placement. Furthermore, the tracking number included on the package does not work, making it impossible to predict the current location or delivery date on said package. At the end of buisness today, the package will officially be late. The prices of shipping and of the product in relation to the quality of service received seems high. In many regards, this review is most aptly a review of the service of DHL shipping.
