Always rented from Sixt and never had any issues , they have been my car rental company for 5 years.Today at Newark airport they lost me for good. After rude agent , said she was the manager picked at my license for 10 minutes and said I can’t rent to you. I told her politely Sixt is my car rental company and you can look how much I rent from you . She did and said well they all made a mistake and should not have rented to you. I was shocked! I walked next door to enterprise where they politely and quickly rented me my car. Enterprise will now be my car rental company. It’s a shame 1 rude employee gives a bad reputation to an entire company and a long term customer.

I had ordered a rental that I was going to pick up in FTL, was supposed to be a Mercedes or Lincoln--Theygave me a Volvo instead--I could live with that---I had the car 7 days ---used about 1/2 a tank--Figured they would charge the going rate or a little more to fill up-- I get a charge for 10 gallons at $9.99 per gallon--they tell me it was on the contract--I would hope that's something they will tell you before you leave the rental booth--what a rip-off---beware of the small print on their contract

I want to write on here since some people wrote bad reviews.. Sixt is good car rental company..Yougonna have mistakes and mishaps when you start up a company..If you experience bad customer service Im sure this company correct this matter hands on..This is a rookie company so give some time to take the kinks out...

AVOID. SCAM. FRAUD. They give you damaged car and CHARGE YOU for damages. Andrea gave damaged car,Francisco "apologized" and explained this is not the first time he received complaint about Andrea and offered a refund. Francisco did not issue any refunds but instead he charged for the damages of the car. I have been renting cars for 20 years and have never had such a disgraceful behavior. AVOID.

I have rented from Sixt a few weeks ago, service was ok. I need to use them again in Vegas and i booked my reservation.I had to move it by one day - they will not refund me my money, if i cancel my reservation for 3 days, they 'keep any prepayments for the first 3 days' - this is amazing!! What a joke and simply a rip off. I will continue to write bad reviews everywhere!! I hope the $100 they ripped me off for was worth the amount of posts i will write!! Congrats you bunch of dumbasses!

Possibly the worst car rental company ever. We prepaid on a booking and then travel got shut down so we tried to cancel our booking.They were not willing to let us have our money back. We had to change our booking to another time. Several months later we still have this reservation but we can still not travel. I tried to change the reservation yet again. When I went to book it gave a price of what it would cost but then the moment I went to book, it tripled the price so to change the booking we would have to pay as much as we originally paid. I sent off emails but got no response. Tried calling but they make it virtually impossible to speak with anyone. Found a roundabout way of speaking to someone but they would not help and just kept repeating that since I prepaid it was my problem. Worst customer service ever. I will never use this company again and advise people not to either.

This company is a joke. Prefer getting punched in the face rather than dealing with them ever again.Ordered a BMW tourer as we have kids. Instead they gave us a two door coupe and made us pay an extra 50% of the booking price as my wife picked up the car instead of me.
