I hadn’t used their site in years so it had changed but I still love it. It’s easy to use and looks so great I made a beautiful slideshow for a friend who passed.I had a difficult day. Had one technical issue which smilebox kindly assisted me with so that I could make a dvd for his mom who doesn’t have social media or a typical way to share it.
I’m forever grateful.

Hi Smilebox. I wasn’t happy when I was notified I had been charged £59.99 for a year’s membership especially since I had no recollection of ever entering into any such arrangement.But Smilebox came through with devastating speed to refund the deficit. Proof positive that good human contacts are still an essential component in our digitised world. If I do return to the quest for a seasonal digital message to friends or family Smilebox will be the likeliest choice. Thank you Olha and the team.

It has always been great for me to use your service in order to send greetings and others to people in the family and friends.I feel sad to have to leave the service now but hope things change with my finances so I may be able in the near future to come back to Smilebox as a subscriber.

This is the first time I ever wrote a bad review on a company. Instead of the traditional mailers we thought it would be better to do an email with a slideshow.At first the company was very responsive. However after upgrading to a more expensive package, the communication stopped. After being frustrated and not getting the responses to our questions from technical support, we stop using them. Since we did not get the service we paid for, we tried to get our money back from our credit card company. They sent proof to them saying we were able to use their service. We paid for a slideshow we were not able to use and was not able to get our money back. Buyers beware!

I would say run and run hard away from this service. I needed to make an assembly promotion video for my school.This looked great and it is easy to use. I used the 4.99 per month subscription which they require you to pay in full. This did not make me happy, but I figured I would eat the $60 cost to make a good video for my students/families. The wording says unlimited downloads for premium, which implies that you would get at least one download under the paid service. Not the case....no download capability unless you pay $140. Also, when you email it, it hangs up a lot and doesn't play without hanging up, so that wasn't a great option. Please don't use this service or you will end up in tears and out $140. At that point, it was too close to the event to redo it so I had no great choices. Never would I recommend this service--run away and run fast and hard! Oh, they also do not have customer service phone help--only email which takes two days to respond. That's not helpful if you have a deadline.
