Fraud Company
I bought a Sun Critical illiness Insurace Term 10 contract.
After 2 years i cancellit where on page 5 and 21 You Right to cancell this policy has reports as explained by the broker that the cancellation of the contract the police member ll be receive back "any ammount in the withdrawable premium fund"
After the cancellation SunLife sent me 2 checks with a total amount of $ 33 after several calls Sun life could not explain why they did not send the amount i pay in this 2 year without explanation. now I have to go to court for this fraud attention do not trust is very bad company.read more

Website is atrocious and 20 years old. Nothing works. Their UX team should be immediately fired.

My opinion of sunlife is that they have no problem with taking your money, but try and get them to to pay out your coverage is another issue.Had a severe motor vehicle accident in October 2018. Long story short, finally approved after a long fight with them. 28 weeks with no money coming in and even though I have been approved still have no money coming and have not been told when to expect it. I have medical issues that I was in 2 different clinics till they were closed due to the lockdown won't be going back to work until my concussion is solved. I can't even get a answer as to when the payout we come. My next move to declare bankruptcy as I have wiped out my savings and a good portion of my rrsp. I think that this is going to be my only option. I think that this is what they are trying to do. They won't be happy till I'm living in a ditch.read more

Terrible. I have called about submitting a breast pump estimate for my wife as she has a condition with low milk supply and was told all papers must be submitted by mail not via the app.A few weeks later I call and they have recieved them but said I should have used the app and that it is totally ok to use it for these estimates. Was told 7-10 business days. Called on 10th business day and was told they put a rush on it and to monitor the app as it will be 2-3 business days. Called on 3rd business day to be told a rush was never put on it and to call in 2-3 business days.
Forms recieved by sunlife sept 17th.
Current date Oct 7th. Will call on the 10th and see what happens. Unbelievable.read more
