Awful experience

Reviewed on 2021-03-02T00:33:54

Awful experience, wasted my time. Sent evaluators out, we agreed on price, they claimed they needed a new 'sheet of paper'and never heard from them again. Garbage company, do not trust. If their communication is this bad with customers, would you trust them to deposit money into your account after they have your car title?

SWIFT transfers are unreliable

Reviewed on 2020-01-15T08:37:59

SWIFT network does not provide its members with transparent info regarding key features of other SWIFT members. On occasion I had to transfer $10s grand from one Russian bank to Transferwise $ account. Eventually, I had got report that Transferwise had returned money 'as client refuse to receive them'. Money still sitting in the Russian bank, however, I have got charged for $250. Upon my call to Transferwise I was told that conditions of my Transferwise USD account do not allow me to receive any funds from Russia. That is a bit different from my transaction report but I do not feel better... Apart my question to Transferwise - "Why do not place such a critical info that you do not serve most of the countries of the world?" I have similar one to SWIFT: WHY SWIFT DO NOT KEEP TRACK OF AVAILABILITY OF ITS END-TO-END TRANSACTIONS TO AVOID SAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE? Bankers, should your customers spend hours to dig your websites deep and wide to find additional conditions and even number of customer support?

Got charged $150 for a wire of a couple…

Reviewed on 2019-04-07T06:41:12

Got charged $150 for a wire of a couple thousand from Europe to Perú... Insane fees and the worst partis you never know how much the intermediate banks will charge or how long the whole process will take. Use BITCOIN, leave the existing financial system ASAP.
