Kind of felt ripped off by the samples

Reviewed on 2021-04-15T21:40:55

I’m sure the products are probably legit, but I ordered a small samples pack $7.99 + shipping, which is excessive in hindsight, knowing what I received, and knowing most companies GIVE samples away for free normally) to try it out before committing to a product(s). Most samples I’ve received from other companies are enough to actually get a decent idea of how the products work with your skin/hair/etc. But these are so tiny, it’s not even worth using. I got a conditionner, a styler and a leave-in sample. Two were in jars so small, I only had maybe a pea-sized amount to use, and the vial of oil (the styler) was literally labeled “6oz”, yet contained only a few drops. Kind of felt ripped off

Great company but Unethical review practices

Reviewed on 2021-03-22T15:23:39

While I quite like the philosophy of the company in terms of selling safe products without harmful chemicals,I have noticed that they never publish me reviews saying anything negative about products. My positive reviews tend to be posted without issue, but none of my negative reviews ever get posted. I have written to them about this and they obfuscate what is actually happening. What’s the point of reviews if not to provide all the reviews? Theirs are clearly curated to favour the products they carry which is a super shady and disreputable practice. I no longer trust any of the reviews on their site as a result.

horrible treatment to their customers

Reviewed on 2020-02-26T21:32:26

I made a purchase while they were running a Bliss Bundle promo. One of the products I bought caused me a SEVERE skin allergy.I created an online return and they canceled it, saying "any used and opened items purchased during our bundle promotion are final sale". They never clearly stated during the whole check out process, that the purchases made in conjunction with Bundles and Gifts with Purchase (GWP) are Final Sale and cannot be exchanged or refunded. Only later when you want to return a product you used ones and end up with a horrible allergic reaction you find out you cant return it, even for store credit - which is ridiculous. If they so strict about it - they MUST make it super clear and visible to the customer that products are a final sale in the cart, before you pay. Not a small print somewhere no one knows where, right?! I shopped with them for my first time and if I can't return a product for such reason, sure enough, it will be my last time. I can't even find a phone number so I could talk to the manager, the only phone number listed on the site - it's one of their physical store's number. So sketchy! If you want a reputable store with great customer service- stay away!
