Postage from HK is rather slow. My recent purchase has not even shipped out from the Outnet as yet.At times, the packaging in which the item comes in e.g. dolce and gabbana shoe box is torn or slightly defaced.

I ordered an Alexander McQueen cardholder. It arrived with some of the paint already chipped from the designer stamp.Not a big deal, I just wanted a full refund, including the $7.95 + tax return shipping charge. I emailed customer service with photos of the chip, and someone named Diana said I could either get 15% money back or return for a refund. I emailed back to confirm that I would not have to pay the return shipping charge (the only reason I had to return it was because of a defect with the item, why should I pay more to return it?). That's when the communication completely stopped. I had been cordial and patient the entire time. I waited a couple of days for the initial response, then another couple of days after my query about the return shipping charge, and followed up with another email. Radio silence. Almost another week went by, I asked again for a confirmation. Still nothing from Diana or anyone else. Finally I shipped the cardholder back anyway, in case I missed the return window, and got in touch with someone named Andre on the live chat. I told Andre that I hadn't heard from customer service in many days and just wanted to confirm that I wouldn't be charged for return shipping. No apology; no acknowledgement. Said I'd only be entitled to the 15% back if I kept the item. I had to reiterate the merchandise defect and request again that they waive the return shipping charge. Finally Andre said he'd "put in a request." Zero apology for the fact that I received a defective item and no response from customer service for over a week. To the folks at The Outnet--in case you're checking, I have two accounts (due to having 2 email addresses) and I've spent thousands of dollars on your site--no longer. You will not have any more of my business. To folks reading this review, do not shop there. I've discovered much better discounts on sites like Nordstrom Rack. These discounted pieces are hit or miss, and you can't afford to shop somewhere that has this kind of terrible customer service and quality control, where you're not sure that you'll get what you paid for, or whether you'll get your money back. Steer clear. If you see something you like on their site, I encourage you to google the item and 9/10 times you'll find it on another reputable, much more customer-friendly site. A lot of those sites also work with Rakuten and you can get an even bigger discount. Hope this helps.
