What does The Simple Folk Co do?
As mothers, our founders Jamie Morea and Abigail Brown felt a profound calling to create a children's clothing line that honors sustainability, champions ethical working conditions, embraces comfort and minimalism, and gives parents the peace of mind that only non-toxic materials can.
We intentionally design our garments with timeless silhouettes and color palettes, and with a quality able to withstand the test of time (and childhood), making them instant heirlooms that can be effortlessly passed between children.
Our line is GOTS and OEKO-TEX® certified, and is handmade in small batches by esteemed artisans at a Green Certified facility in Portugal using organic and natural materials. We honor the Earth and all its inhabitants at every turn—rejecting fast, disposable fashion trends that harm our environment, and allowing our customers to embrace slow fashion for good.
Beyond our childrenswear line, we also proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with our blossoming community of like-minded parents who share in our commitment to make this world a better place for its youngest citizens.
As parents, creatives, and artisans on a mission, innovation is at the heart of all we do. We have a virtual home office and our incredible team is fully distributed throughout the US, EU, and UK. We are also honored to support three non-profits that actively support women, children, and education on a global scale.
Our commitment to simplicity, quality, transparency, and the spirit of play shines through from our garments to our work culture, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Thanks for caring how your clothes are made.
