They sold me a very expensive Trek Emonda SLR 7. After less than 1000km I rode over a rough piece of road and the handlebar snapped at 35km per hour.Rather than ask me if I was OK they have insisted that there is a small scratch on the bike and so it must have been crash damage - despite the bike not crashing or being dropped. A serious safety issue is being ignored and now they want me to pay 700chf for a replacement and wait 4 months for delivery. Truly disgracefulread more

45 minute call to Trek Customer Service regarding a $5000 bicycle. 40 minute wait time.Absolutely no help.
Trek has no replacement batteries or sources for the batteries on their eBikes. Was told to go to Bosch or the internest.
Trek offers made in China replacements for the OEM Supernova M99 Pro Headlights. These are more expensive than the German made ones which offer more features.
Tech support could not tell me whether the 1st gear ring on the drive cassette normally had one tooth lower than the rest. (I thought it may have been engineered to ensure downshifting while aggressively pedaling uphill).
I was stupid to assume they support their products.read more
Very rude customer service

Very rude customer service, misguided information for bikes when shopping and told that fat tires are just as good as shocks! So untrue, worst bikes ever! Bikes had constant issues and at $700-$800 price range, these bikes were purchased for our avid young riders who already knew how to do tricks on previous less expensive bikes, but these trek bikes we brought in to fix issues a couple times within the first week of having them and again at a couple weeks and then left bike at trek shop for 4 days...our bikes issues were not even repaired! No compensation, no apology, no anything. Child was badly injured due to faulty bike. Bikes returned and will never deal with them again! And the pandemic is not to blame for their horrible service! Overall terrible experience with Trek!!! Purchased a better brand in the end, cost a few hundred dollars more, but at least my kids will be happier to be able to do the things they enjoy without random falls and they will be safer!read more

Our sons Bontrager Ion front light for some reason just decided not to switch on, did all the obvious, but still nothing. I then phoned up customer services and spoke to a really polite man called James to explain the situation, with no interrogation or suggestions that I was at fault James authorized a replacement FOC, two days later the new item arrived.
Why can't other companies be so customer focused and understanding. Brilliant-thanks Trek.read more

I ended up buying a couple of bits for my bike. While I was looking in the shop they quickly tuned up my gears; so the gear changes became smoother and more reliable on my bike. They did not even charge me. Wow so impressed. to the point I will buy my next bike from themread more

I have to give them a one because I can't give them a negative star, so here goes...
I purchased a couple of Trek bikes from Evans Bicycles,Ipswich two years ago. One of them was a Trek Roscoe 7 Mountain Bike for about £800.
I never received halfway decent service from Evan during the entire time I have had the bike. The last time degenerated into their telling me to purchase parts on ebay and bring them to Evans to install (poorly as it turns out) on the bike.
So this is mostly Evans but wait, it gets better.
My Roscoe 7 spent about a month with the Evanites the last time and they completely failed to fix or replace my righthand crankset which was going unbelievably wobbly. The part on the original Roscoe 7 is no longer produced. Can we get a replacement? Well if you go on ebay. Hold on. Is this a bike shop? Does any other industry demand this of their customers?
Today I called Trek UK Customer Service in Milton Keynes. This was an adventure in frustration: Well you should bring it back to Evans...But sir I have and they essentially tell me to heal myself. Well we didn't produce that part. Uh, you put it on the bike. Yes but that isn't our responsibility.
This was before the dude got rude and I hung up.
Trek is the absolute worst bunch of decerebrate nematodes it has been my misfortune to come across in this life time.
If you read this and buy one of their soon to be half out of manufacture bikes, well you probably can't read anyway.
I will never, never, never even contemplate buying anything from these morons again.read more

Ordered an Emonda beginning of September 2020. Delivery date 1.4.2021. Ok Corona. Asked in February my trader what the status was.Received the information that the delivery date was changed to 1.6. No proactive information whatsoever. Asked in April what the status was. Answer: Duedate changed to 21.6 and I should be happy it is not more. 10 months for a bike? 2 shifts of the delivery date without any information? Corona yes. But that is too much. Other companies do manage this much better. Shame on you. Do you think I get my bike before the next winter?read more
