I was a Weather Tech Fan

Reviewed on 2021-04-04T12:24:55

I was a Weather Tech Fan, I have bought Weather Tech for over six of my own vehicles and have givenas gifts also but now after not quite two years on a Truck cover which says they warranty it for 5 the Velcro is not working anymore and they have claimed they are going to send me replacement stick on Velcro which is stupid enough but it’s been over a month now and nothing. I got to say I change vehicles often but if I don’t receive a explanation email and some kind of fix weather tech will never get another penny of my money.

After 4 months... weathertech floor mats look like 10 years old

Reviewed on 2021-03-29T23:25:59

Purchased front and back mats for 2020 Ridgeline. Paid $265. Thought I was buying top quality.I’ve bought better quality at Walmart. Have been in use for 3 months and they look like they are 10 years old. Tried cleaning them but they show wear and stains no matter what I try. The vehicle has 4,000 miles and isn’t used for work so not heavy use. Would not recommend these mats to my worst enemy. Really disappointed with this American manufacturer. Go to their website and look for their return policy... you won’t be impressed. Was willing to pay super premium dollars to support an American manufacturer, what a mistake. China and or India beats Weathertech quality every day. Do not buy...

Poor Windshield Cover for Jeep

Reviewed on 2021-03-24T20:54:07

Bought the windshield cover for my Jeep Wrangler, specifying model, year etc. Does not fit.Too big by at least an inch in both directions. Stiff, so things attached like radio and radar detector make a bad situation impossible. Crafty advertisements with poor products. They need to fix things, or go out of business.

Poor quality product and terrible customer service.

Reviewed on 2021-03-23T15:15:03

I recently purchased front and rear Weathertech liners for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd,I even contacted Weathertech prior to making the purchase to ensure that their product was laser cut (as advertised) for my vehicle; I received an email ensuring me that they were. Once I received the liners, which are very flimsy and of low quality, it was very obvious that they were not designed for this vehicle. Customer service was less than easy to deal with and basically called me a liar until I sent photo evidence of the poor fit. The front liner got scuffed on the underside and owing to his, a full refund was denied. Do not purchase anything from Weathertech, their products are of poor quality, customer service is terrible and they will not honor their return policy. The only reason for a one-star rating is that a zero star rating is not possible.

Purchased window deflectors for me Jeep…

Reviewed on 2021-03-20T12:07:34

Purchased window deflectors for me Jeep Cherokee in May 2020. I paid twice as much as most brands for 2 reasons, made in America & they make the kind that goes inside the window. They're pretty thick & up until a week ago held up great. I was out with friends & the rear deflector flew off when the window was put down. I emailed warranty support & they responded right away. Within a couple hours I had replacements coming. That's how you stand behind your product.

I really feel bad putting this out for…

Reviewed on 2021-02-26T22:02:01

I really feel bad putting this out for the whole world to see - but I'm an honest person - and I really screwed Up!I have a 2004 Ford Explorer that after 17 years (just over 100,000 miles) still looks new and I wanted to take care of it the best way I could (it is under a shelter - covered by a very well made padded car cover) ... so I bought Weathertech Seat covers, floor mats and their Cargo mat. All of this stuff on TV looks fantastic. And when they tell you it is "laser measured - for correct fit", etc. and it really sounds like something great ... WRONG !!! it is some really cheap crap - the seat covers don't half fit (even after they ask you for exact make - model - year, etc) ...the floor mats "roll up" like tacos after a few weeks (they will actually tell you how to turn them inside out to hopefully get back in shape) and the cargo mat is more of the same. "IF" they would use some material thick enough to actually hold its shape - they might actually be worth the purchase price, but I'm out around $600 and believe me - their "Made In America" product could have been much better made in China. It's really a shame for them to use the patriotism angle to lure folks in to buying their product ...by the way - I'm a disabled American Veteran and patriotism is something real to me. I bought all of the above items at "TNT Exhaust center" in Reidsville, NC. They not only do exhaust but also sell 4WD / trailer / modification parts. I no longet have the receipt, but am sure that Joel and his wife (who run the business) will remember me as I am a regular customer.

Bad Customer Service - Buyer beware

Reviewed on 2021-02-09T20:47:53

Purchased a bug deflector for 2020 Pacifica. Experience with customer service after receiving product: 1.Incomplete instructions. Only included steps 1 & 2, nothing beyond. 2. Customer calls for clarification, following instructions to do so 3. Rep cannot assist. Says a drill should not be used, yet the instructions indicate a drill is needed with 1/8" bit. Rep Is not able to locate installation instructions for 2020 and defers customer to a YouTube video of AVS, who later, come to find out is the actual manufacturer. .... and paid for an AVS product under the disguise of weather tech at a premium price. 4. Poor shipping method. Cheap thin cardboard ..... not good for company who supposedly is proud of a quality product 5. Not once did customer rep from weather tech offer an apology. Rather, took a defensive approach to assisting customer. Avoid Weathertech, Mistakes happen, I understand. But Brett's approach as a customer service rep is all wrong. Not only couldn't assist, displayed no attitude to want to try and resolve or even apologize.
