I love this store for pants only, My recent online purchase was a jacket. i went up to a size 8 in the jacket and it still does not close.i am a size 4 or 6 usually, If you have any kind of a bust this is not the store for you.

I rediscovered White House Black Market probably about 8 to 9 months ago. Since then,I have become a platinum member because I cannot stop spending my money here! The clothes are such high quality. They fit me like a dream because they are so well made. The best part of White House Black Market would be their customer service though. I love how helpful they are, and they never rush you off the phone. If anything, they become your stylistss for a little while. If I call for a quick question, you can bet the agent will take the time to place the order over the phone whereas most companies will answer your question, and then direct you to complete your purchase online. That is never the case with White House Black Market. I love placing me orders over the phone because the agents are generally very stylish, and they can figure out my style fairly quickly in order to suggest items and up sell. I do not mind! I love when I find hidden gems because of certain customer service agents. I have had three so far that are worth mentioning. Sherry, Patrick, and Arlene are easily some of the best customer service stylists I have ever come in contact with in my life. When we speak, it's like speaking to a friend. I love how they help me shop. Patrick introduced me to Chico's, and he showed me that it's not just for older women. They have definitely amped up their style. So I did have the opportunity to shop with Chico's and White House Black Market in one hour-long phone call. It sounds like a long time, but I was having so much fun shopping that it didn't feel like it was that long. the stylists at White House Black Market really know how to take my money because they always match me up with wonderful products. If there's ever an issue or problem, they are so helpful and kind. Also, if you are trying to save money, I would suggest you call in because they will find ways to help you save money in order for you to get the items you want. Absolutely awesome clothing, fantastic customer service, and the atmosphere is divine. The website is very easy to navigate, and the clothes are a dream for me. You will not be disappointed shopping here, and I hope the company claims this quickly so more people review it.

I don't know why WHBM has such poor reviews on here. The clothing is beautiful and is high quality.I have items I still wear that look like new from 5-6 years ago that are in style and favorites.
This is basically the only thing my closet consists of. I love their jeans, work wear, blazers and jackets, and all the dressy tops and items. It's all wonderful.
From time to time they go through some styles I dislike but they always have the standard black and white work wear you can choose from so it's a great place to purchase business attire.
Additionally, they also feature 1-2 colors for a few months or style patterns so you can go in and see what is the "color pop" as I call it for that month and then come back in another month or two for a whole new set of styles.
It's expensive - with a blazer and dress costing $170 on average and a sweater and jeans $80-90. But if you are a Black Book member you always get 5% off and you are sent promos and coupons for usually; 40% and 30% off in addition to coupons that are added to your account the more you shop for something like $25-50 off if you spend $200 or so.
It's my favorite store of all time and I get compliments on the clothes I wear to work all the time by coworkers who say they want to shop my closet. I'm addicted!

This review is for White House Black Market only. I ordered a dress from them as there were many fabulous reviews.The dress was pretty but the fit was odd- clingy on top and loose on bottom. It was not really appropriate for work. I submitted a review of the dress through their site. The review was an honest assessment that I would not recommend the item for busty women. They did not publish my review. Based on my experience, I am convinced that the reviews are cherry picked to show all items in a positive light.
I rely on reviews since it is the only way to know what customers really think. I cannot trust the reviews on their site. After two crappy purchases that had good reviews, I am done.

Not sure why WHBM has poor reviews.
While some of their collections have been a miss from time to time,in general their clothing is great. Half of my work closet comes from them.
They offer long pants too. Which is amazing for me! Not many places do.
Have been shopping both in stores and online for years and never had an issue.
