We have been loyal users of 40ver many years. Since they closed their Canadian facility is has been next to impossible to rely on service and a timely delivery.The fact they use UPS which is the worst shipping service possible we are seriously exploring options. We found trade printers of better quality and service - the only issue is cost effective shipping.

Although the service and quality have not changed, (we think is quite good, if not excellent),the pricing has gone up, not to mentioned the cost of shipping is now adding up, we do take advantage as much as we can of the group shipping, but now the cost of products almost matches the cost of shipping, at least in some products like business cards and postcards. If prices are not what they used to be or shipping charges are not dropped, we're going to have to find another vendor, our small operation can't support this much longer. We've been clients of 4Over for many years now, but we have to get back to normal somehow!

Absolutely awful interface, website, uploading process, and customer service.
I am forced to use this service by my company.If the choice is yours to make, avoid at all costs.
Can you re-order a project? No.
Can you get someone on the phone who can actually help you? No.
Will your emails be responded to? No.
If you don't approve a job within four days because the files are wrong and look janky while using industry standard templates, will your order be cancelled completely? Yes.
This company used to be OK at best, now it's awful.

We ordered 9:30 am April 21st. To be picked up on 22nd. 500 postcards that we need super rush.Management told us will be ready at 5:30pm 22nd…. Business hours are closed by that time, and i do not consider this as 24 hours production time. We will be stopping all of our ordering with this company. They truly let us down on this simple order.

Today the good customer service stopped...dead. The unreasonable customer service rep was absolutely unbendable.Called 2 days before and spoke to another rep that said something completely different. I was wrong and she was right ...period.
She said if their wasn't a note that confirmed what I was saying it did not happen.

Used them and had ok service for a few years but recently the service has completely disappeared thereare other gang run printers that still believe in customer service and offer decent pricing I recommend doing research and finding another printer. 4 over has cost me multiple customers, only use them if you are desperate, the only reason they have 3.5 star average anymore is form past service of from low prices thats it, don't ever risk sending tight registration, complicated or timely jobs to them you will regret it. Worst experience ever.

Good quality, low prices, bad packaging.
UPDATE: After quite a bit of back and forth,4Over reprinted all of my client's posters. Also, they hand-delivered the larger part of the order.
After initially hesitating to do the right thing, they realized that we weren't trying to scam them and that we had legitimate concerns.
I would have given them more stars for this revised review. However, the two reprints they sent for the smaller part of the order, were packaged the same way as the previously damaged posters. They put straps on the boxes without enough reinforcement inside. Consequently, those straps squeeze the box and damage the posters inside. In their defense, UPS did casually throw the boxes over my client's fence causing more damage to the product. But after three deliveries with the same problem, they should be aware that they need to re-enforce their packaging to protect what they sell.
My client still will need to waste time sorting through the small posters to weed out the ones that were ruined.
On a positive note, Ed was very empathetic and I could tell he worked really hard to resolve the problem. Also, when we made them aware that the small reprinted posters were damaged, they didn't hesitate to send a second reprint.
Original Review:
I arranged for my client to purchase +$2k worth of printing. When the boxes arrived, my client noticed that the straps were too tight and the boxes were damaged.
She took photographs and did her best to determine the extent of the damage. She is running her business out of her home and doesn't have space to lay out thousands of posters and inspect the damage.
She estimated that about 10% were damaged. 4over offered a discount based on that amount. We thought the matter was settled.
However, as she continued to open boxes and use the product, she found that the original estimate of 10% was too low. For every 1 item that she can use there are 3 or 4 that she can't.
We sent them photos of the additional damaged items and photos of a better way to package them. We asked them if they could do a reprint or adjust the discount and they declined and offered a $50 credit to a future order.
They have never acknowledged the faulty packaging nor did they say how they would package future orders. With that in mind, and the fact that they don't stand behind their quality or learn from their mistakes, why would we give them any future business?
