For the last twenty years, Aegean Airlines, a member of Star Alliance, constitutes Greece's largest airline, providing full service, premium quality short and medium haul services. In 2013 AEGEAN united its strength with Olympic Air; in order to become even better and to affer to everyone a wide-ranging network within Greece, as well as abroad supporting Greek regions and ensuring the qualitative access even to the most remote Greek island. Total traffic of AEGEAN exceeded 14 Million passengers in 2018. In June 2018 AEGEAN signed a Purchase Agreement with Airbus, ordering up to 42 new generation aircraft of the A320neo family. The total evaluation of the investment is estimated to reach 5 billion USD at list prices, constituting it the largest private investment in Greece. The new aircrafts facilitate new services for passengers, as well as increased range capabilities, enabling expansion to new destinations and markets. In 2018, the Company was honored with the Skytrax World Airline award, as the best European regional airline. This was the 10th time AEGEAN received the respective award. Among other distinctions, AEGEAN gained 5th place, for a second consecutive year, in the world's 20 best airlines list (outside the U.S.) at the 2018 Readers' Choice Awards survey of Conde Nast Traveler, with more than 429.000 travelers participating. I am completely disappointed in Your company and will do my best to spread it out to others because it seems like a scam to me.I have had to cancel 5 reservations due to the restrictions imposed by Greece on tourists from Argentina and because Air France canceled my flight to Athens due to those restrictions. I asked to be exchanged for a voucher to be used during the year 2022.
As answers, 3 reservations were canceled without any access to any voucher and for the other two reservations I have been granted two vouchers for more than 11, 00 Euros.
If I invest a little more than Euros 260 in the total sum of my five reservations and I have to cancel them not because I want to, but because of the restrictions due to covid-19, it is reasonable to receive a little more than Euros 22.
If this is not a scam, name it Yours.
They are thieves in white gloves and they deserve to be exposed as much of the portal as possible.
I got tired of sending them emails without answers until I was forced to spend much more than what I am going to receive in a voucher on telephone calls first to Spain three times since since I do not speak Greek or English it seemed a reasonable option, until finally I had to to make the call to Greece because I never managed to do it, so the lack of English made it difficult for me to communicate.
They have not had the slightest understanding of my position and they have taken more than 200 Euros from my pocket, they do not seem like a company that takes care of its clients and I am much more surprised than one of Greek origin, which seems to me a people of the most friendly that I have visited.

My experience with Aegean Airlines was terrible, I got charged 38£ for the second carry-on item,a laptop bag because it was not thin enough although it clearly fits under the front seat as it's specified by the airline's baggage allowance.
The person who checked in my bags(2x32kg+1x23kg total 130£ for luggage) for my Flex booking tried to charge me more for my bags as he thought they were overweight until I showed him the baggage allowance for each bag. Then the agent acted surprised and oblivious about the weight limits.
I contacted Agean airlines about this "misunderstanding" and they told me that they cannot do anything about it because the agent registered the reason for the charge as my cabin bag being overweight and not because the laptop bag was not thin enough as he told me. I asked them to check the cameras or contact the agent about it and the response was negative about that as well.
My suggestion to anyone who is willing to use Aegean Airlines is to be aware of this "thin bag" loophole(it should have dimensions on the description) as they use it for profiteering.
Always have the luggage allowance description with you printed at the check-in as well, just to be sure you won't be overcharged.

Since years i fly with Aegaen Airlines to Greece, already in the plane my vacation modus starts.Last years difficulties were all over,i had one flight changed without problems. The women on the phone are very friendly and helpful, finally i got some money back, it took a while, but i will fly again with Aegaen Air, εφχαριστο πολι!

Worst airline in the world, they refused to let me board in Cyprus to a flight in the UK,claiming I didn’t have all the paperwork for the UK under COV19 which I did have I showed the check in person all the required paperwork on iPad in electronic format, they wanted hard copies, refused to let me email them to them, missies the flight no empathy or comparison totally unhelpful, booked a different flight with another airline. Do not use this airline unhelpful totally.
