I’m only using Beambox for data capture at the moment, which it does brilliantly. Growing our database so that we can begin using it later on this year.
Setting the plug and play box up was easy,the wifi speed is great and we liked that it connected guests instantly when they returned.
We are capturing a few hundred emails a week at the moment, although traffic is lower than usual so we will see how that increases in the next few months.read more

Horrific product and even worse customer service. Good luck getting any meaningful help within 48 hourswhen you need help and you will need help because the product is not exactly ready for use.read more

I have really enjoyed using the platform to manage our marketing. We only started sending emails recently to keep customers informed about when we are going to open again.It is now something we will hopefully continue to use going forward. Great value.read more

Our business struggled early on with some negative reviews. We used Beambox initially for data capture and then decided to test their review feature.It has become a very powerful tool, which has fixed our online reputation.
While I'm not sure of the exact numbers, I have no doubt in my mind that we have had more business because of it. Our TripAdvisor and Google rankings were improved because of our feedback and we're continuing to see the results.
It was a no brainer cost-wise and we're sure we'll be using it for the foreseeable future.read more

Well, we have been using Beambox for months now and while we haven't been able to use it at normal capacity,it has helped us massively in keeping our customers informed. Every time we open/close, we use Blasts to let everyone know. Imported our Mailchimp data which is easy enough.read more

Can't fault Beambox. Their customer service is impeccable and they're always on hand to help out.
What I've been using it for:
Data capture - This was a big one for me.I wanted to be able to capture data easily so that I can improve how we approach marketing at our cafe. Beambox made this effortless with the social logins, we're sitting at just over 12,000 data profiles currently. Using this with Mailchimp using the integration, but do plan on trying the Beambox marketing platform soon.
Review automator - We have a pretty good local reputation anyway, but as any business does, we get the odd not-so-good review. Being able to deflect these from going online and instead enabling us to put more effort into a retention strategy has been amazing. Once a month we filter all new negative reviews, then we reach out to them personally using their Beambox email and see how we can solve their problems.
Happy birthday promotions - I'm sure there's more we can be doing with the beambox interactions feature, however at the moment we are doing the happy birthday promotion emails. Their support helped us set this up and it send an email to guests a week before their birthday with an incentive (a little cake for free with any regular drink) A little goes a long way!
So I'm pretty happy so far. Maybe I'll get a chance to use more of the marketing features over xmas.read more
