If I could leave 0 Stars, I would. Completely awful customer service, inept delivery contractors.Worst purchase experience of my life.
I ordered a sofa online April 13. That sofa was available to be delivered to me on May 7. THe delivery company (Ryder) contacted us for a date. When we left a message, they did not call us back. I had to call customer service to get a call back. They finally confirmed delivery for 5/14 but did not show up. When I called Big Lots, they didn't have any understanding of what had happened. They told me I needed to contact Ryder and straighten it out myself. I spoke with someone again on 5/15 who told me the same. So, on 5/17 I contacted Ryder. They didn't know what had happened. One person stopped communicating with me. I was on hold for hours. I have wasted no less than 20 hours of working time on this order. I sent two emails with no response. Ryder told me the furniture is lost. However Big Lots told me the furniture is not lost. Today, Ryder had Big Lots call to tell me that indeed the furniture is lost and it would be another 2-4 weeks before I receive a couch. How does one lose a sofa? It was clearly there, or they would not have scheduled a delivery. I have been disconnected or sent to voicemail multiple times. Furthermore, I have been CHARGED for the item I do not have.

I am a customer who was in the store overheard another customer being childish inmature selfish.Who didn't appreciate customer assistance from the store associate. The customer was unhappy only because the associate was helping her out water in the basket. I feel she refused help because the childish customer wanted to take more than what she actually paid for.

I am late in doing this -but the service i got in particular from furniture salesperson "Annette" at the store on OBT & Central Florida Pkwy (Orlando)was so exceptional I wanted to give her a shout out for excellent service. I went in many time looking for a particular recliner ( Broyhill tan rocker and recliner) but they were always sold out or had it on hold for someone else..I did this for about 6 weeks, and most every time "Annette"was there.. she always welcomed me and understood I needed that particular item ( the arms are padded, but firm enough for a sick person to push up on to stand)..I am sorry this is so late, and the review form says they will forward this to Big Lots - i dont have my sales ticket anymore, and I dont want to create an account there just to file this review.. but I hope management sees this and realizes what a valued employee she is.. I'm in sales as well, so I recognize superior service, and wanted to formally acknowledge her abilities WTG Annette! THANK YOU -sincerely David H

I frequent your store more and more as selections are expanding. My most recent visit was to buy water and some paper plates.My experience with Molly was exceptional. She's pleasant, knowledgeable and bent over backwards to make sure I was completely satisfied. She's the first face of your company and a shining example of how it's done right!

5/5/21 at 930 am I picked up a curbside order at Salem Va W Main St store...what a mistake....wow the guy came out..put it my trunk and walked away...no hello,no goodbye and did not close the trunk! Two minutes away is Walmart...friendly and efficient curbside service! I drove away feeling I bothered the Big Lot store by having my heavier items brought to my car...back issues really restrict lifting some items from the cart...back to Walmart I go!

They have the worst app ever it is plagued with ads you can't even concentrate the product that youwant to buy or order online make you make a lot of mistakes when ordering and makes you waste a lot of time that makes me not want to buy from Big lots they should change their app and clean it up why their CEO or who is in charge will let someone you develop a app like this for their company for it limits and takes time out of people daily lives when some people don't have all that time to wait and see commercials

I ordered a welcome sign with cute little puppies in them April 13th, it is now May 5th and I still haven't received my item but FedEx marked it as delivered.I called biglots several times and nobody will help me or give me a refund. They told me they would send out an replacement item two weeks ago and still nothing so I called 1 866 244 5687 but they keep hanging up on me when they transfer me. I've asked for a supervisor several times but again I get disconnected. " ONLINE BUYERS BEWARE." DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM BIG LOTS ONLINE. THEY WILL SCREW YOU AROUND AND KEEP YOUR MONEY. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. BIGLOTS YOU SUCK!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered a mattress 2 weeks ago, cancelled it the next day (for personal reasons),been trying to get my refund ever since. Called 3 times now, every time I get an actual person they assure me I will get my money back and still nothing!! Every time I call, on hold a minimum of 30 minutes only to be transferred again and again!! I cannot BELEIVE they run a business like this!!
