This review is to warn about Mr G Watson aka BargainMonster seller on Bonanza platform.I was unlucky to purchase Braun No Touch + Touch Thermometer with Age Precision, BNT400 on 19th July 2019. The thermometer never worked properly - if to measure temperature 10 times in a row on the same person, it would show completely different temperature every time from 36,5 to 39 thus we literally never used this thermometer. BargainMonster has tried everything possible to confuse me, waste my time and basically not to refund for the faulty thermometer. In March 2020 I contacted BargainMonster regarding Braun thermometer but he said to contact Braun directly.
Since then I have been ping ponged from Braun to Shaver then to Helen of troy. Since July 2020 Helen of Troy have been promising to replace the thermometer and in Feb 2021 Helen of Troy informed that due to Covid 19, they do not currently have stock available for warranty replacements. On 10th February I again contacted BargainMonster but he referred me to the manufacturer again despite regardless if I bought the item from a store or website, it would be the retailer that has the responsibility for the goods. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods the seller supply must be fit for purpose. BargainMonster should have not been passing me to different manufacturers in the first instance as its his responsibility to refund or give me an exchange. By the consumer rights act 2015 which is a law, Braun thermometer will be described as not satisfactory quality because it is faulty and it doesn’t work so I am entitled to a repair or replacement because in the consumer rights act the liability of the trader lasts for 6 years after the date of purchase.
I requested a full refund from BargainMonster within 7 days Under the consumer right act 2015 considering that since March 2020 I have been trying to get a replacement but I was getting nowhere with this but BargainMonster bluntly never responded to me.
I contacted Bonanza and the seller is being investigated but considering the appalling rating of Bonanza platform on internet and numerous complaints from customers, it is not surprising the seller managed to get away with his illegal actions. Its been 2 months since I asked Bonanza to take an appropriate action against Mr G Watson aka BargainMonster but I have still not received any update on their investigation despite I was chasing them on a regular basis. Bonanza have been responding with copied and pasted unrelated information. Considering all the above, I would like to warn people about Mr G Watson aka BargainMonster and Bonanza platform and avoid it at all costs.read more

Just sucks, seller flakes on transactions for bogus excuses. Seller cancels and sends message “sorryI cannot not ship” I ask why seller responds not risking mailing it I ask why and then claims my payment was placed on hold flagged potentially fraudulent and says sorry I really wanted to sell it. OK, I told seller I really wanted to buy it, nothing no repost nothing.
I payed with PayPal no issues on my side nor with any other transactions that day or after.
You leave negative feedback. Bonanza yanks the review.
Thought I found a replacement for eBay to buy and sell. Just wanabie copy of eBay censoring comments and reviews to make themselves look better. Just putting lip stick on a greedy pig.
We need honest reviews all directions on sellers and buyers. So I rate bonanza at “It Sucks” level.

I wanted to return something but the seller would not answer. Bonanza was able to open a ticket for this and follow up with no luck on their end.They told me the next steps to get a full refund and I was able to get my money back within a week. A+.read more
