Dreadful system, keeps going offline

Dreadful system. The Canary keeps going offline for no apparent reason. All other systems that use the wifi on a permanent basis,such as the Hive somehow manage to work fine.
Only way to then get it working again is to turn it off and on again. Kind of pointless if you’re out of the house, the time when it’s supposed to be doing it’s job.

DREADFUL SERVICE! I purchased product 2 years ago. Pay premium membership. Two months ago the service was changed and I have had no connection from detectors,which makes the security useless. Despite repeated requests, I receive occasional responses with the same advice, which does not work. Basically paying for nothing! I will need to change the security to another system with a loss of over £600! DO NOT BUY CANARY IF YOU NEED A SECURITY SERVICE!

Totally agree with all of those who have written about this company’s attitude to cancellation.They treat clients with total contempt and how they are being allowed to get away with it is a mystery. I’m at the stage of taking them to the small claims court in order to get back money they have taken from my account. I don’t even have the useless camera it never performed properly and I object to paying for rubbish like this.
How they are still in business and how people can work for a company like this is beyond me. My advice is to keep well clear of this rouge company.

Well I wouldn’t even give them one star canary is the worst Wi-Fi home security system you could everpurchase if I had to leave and trust that camera system with my family safety man that’s the worst thing you could do it’s garbage straight garbage they charge an arm and a leg for the camera and then the service is even more expensive to monitor it he goes off-line every two seconds. Then takes forever to come back online by then my family would’ve been dead of a home invasion do yourself a favor this is one home safety security camera that needs to be pulled off the shelves

A very geedy company and appalling customer service. They refused to refund me despite myself refusing auto renewal before they took the premium.Have reported them for fraud - also their camera’s are substandard and dont work correctly. Purchasers be warned. DO NOT BUY- just look at the other really bad reviews about this company. Now going to ombudsman

Took £79 without my permission and won’t refund me.

My yearly subscription of £79 was due April 13th, prior to that date I attempted to make contact with Canary to cancel.I tried via the canary app, didn’t work and via my account and there wasn’t anywhere allowing me to cancel my subscription.
As I had purchased my camera via PayPal they took the £79 from that method.
I have contacted canary several times since the 13th for a refund and they have refused to refund me.
Terrible, patronising customer service attitude.

The cameras and easy set up is great. But the customer service sucks... can't talk to a person,they will charge your credit card without permission and won't refund your money back.
I asked for a supervisor to contact me and nothing.
Once I saw the charge to my account, that was over priced by $58, I emailed back the same day to cancel the subscription and asked for a refund. 2 weeks later and after several emails still getting the same response no refund. Sad that I am having to go through my bank now to reverse the charges.
I would not recommend canary cameras to anyone.

I was also a victim to their malpractices. They give our instructions on their website on how to cancel.You follow it and they lead you through a typical cancellation process as other websites, to even offering a discounted price at what you’d think is Canary’s last offer before you press okay to opt out. They lead you to a screen saying sad to see you go but you need to call this number to finalize your cancellation.THEY LET YOU GO THROUGH ALL THE CANCELLATION PROCESS OF WEBPAGES AND IN THE END YOU NEED TO CONTACT THEM TO CANCEL. I cannot say how misleading this is and even for seniors that are used to the standard cancellation process and unable to be aware of this. I regret signing up with Canary. I have locked this device away. Will Not not even give it as to not burden someone else. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. BUYER BEWARE.
