Using Caption Pro is like hiring someone with the best memory in the world and then getting them to do all of your work for you!It's seriously so good, it almost feels like cheating.
Does it know everyone that it is going to step in front of the camera? Of course not - there are nearly 8 billion people in the world - but the best thing about the software is once you've added someone in, they're in your database forever! Yes, you'll have to build your database (although it recognises a load of people right from the start), but imagine how much quicker you'll be in a month of using it, a year, two years! No more cringing as you try to search your brain because 'you know you know them from somewhere', no more trying to figure out where you saw them last so you can track down a name - the software remembers. And it makes you look better at your job.
I've been using the software for over a year now, and recently decided to test my old workflow against my new one with Caption Pro - I edited 64 images. In my old workflow, it took just over 16 minutes to caption (and I'm fast!). Using Caption Pro, it took 3. THREE!!!
Also, aside from just identifying people, it does all the work of actually captioning them as well. You can set it up to caption in whatever standards your agency requires. More than one person in the photo? It can automatically change 'attends' to 'attend'. More than two? It can automatically begin with (L-R). Need the names to appear in both the caption field and the persons shown field? No problem - next!! All of the little things about captioning that take up time have been thought of here and it does it all for you. And clients think it's AMAZING by the way - so many PR have sat down with me to go through images and said 'Oh my god, what is THIS?!?" It makes your job easier, it makes their job easier and it looks really impressive.
I could never go back to manually captioning now. This has been a game changer for me. Can't recommend it enough.

I cant imagine doing a job now without Caption Pro - it has made me a faster and more efficient photo editor.When captioning images and I'm not certain on someone is, it gives me reassurance to who it is or gives me the name that is on the tip of my tongue! It saves a huge amount of time because I no longer type out who is in the photo, especially if it is a group photo with many faces, I now just press one button to confirm who is in the photo and done! Overall it makes my workflow a-lot simpler and speedier and a must have in such a competitive industry.

Fanastic product, and great support!
The app is a real timesaver - it's saved me HOURS of having to trawl through various wikipedia pages to try and identify celebrities (from a range of A-Z lists!)to identify people who I'm not familiar with.
If you're a photographer, either celebrity, music, red carpet etc - if you do a lot of event work, Caption Pro will not just save you time, but also the embarrassment of having to ask who someone is when you're trying to caption your photos.
Customer Support is excellent, with prompt responses to my queries... and they have gone out of their way to not only explain, but to give examples on using their software for my particular workflow.
While I'm not aware of any competing product, I'm amazed by this one and would strongly recommend to my professional colleagues!
