Canadian Science Publishing (CSP), head-quartered in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) is an independent, not-for-profit scholarly publisher dedicated to serving the needs of researchers and their communities, not only by publishing quality peer-reviewed journals but also by supporting the knowledge-sharing activities of scholarly societies and other key partners through events, awards, and other exchanges. We are a not‐for‐profit company – CSP's Board is drawn from the research and publishing communities and represents all interests of the scholarly publishing community in Canada and beyond, including researchers, scientific societies, libraries, and business. The CSP membership base includes a wide range of institutions and organizations that have a stake in developing a healthy scholarly scientific publishing industry. The NRC Research Press journals (16 titles) cover a broad range of scientific disciplines, with more than 2000 manuscripts each year. All journals are available online and are accessible before print publication at www.nrcresearchpress.com. We proudly participate in international programs such as Research4Life, PERii, and TEEAL, which provide developing countries access to our material at little or no cost. Canadian Science Publishing is also on the forefront of new publishing and distribution technologies. This expertise is available to scientific societies and other not-for-profit organizations that want to produce technically advanced materials for their clients and to expose scientific publications to a global audience. As an international STM publisher, Canadian Science Publishing prides itself in providing the widest possible access to its published material and has undertaken a number of open access initiatives to support this goal. With more than 85 years of publishing know-how, we leverage our expertise and our advanced publishing infrastructure to offer our clients a one-stop shop for quality publishing services.
