These guys set me up and now I need to make everyone aware of their cheating tricks! .My only advice is for traders who have fallen in their pit to reach out to the right people who can really help with refunding such a ponzi program. There are few fakes that don't do the right job and pay fees for the service. I lost quite a bit of money before meeting the right litigation company. My experience with Credit Suisse can be described as terrible. I have opened the CSX account.As a foreigner living in Switzerland I liked their services being in English. The internet banking is in English and all the communication with the bank is also foreigner friendly. However, my bad experience started when I wanted to upgrade from CSX to Bonviva. I submitted the application using the app. After four weeks and four complaints my Bonviva package is STILL NOT OPEN. I received no customer support, all have been on my own initiative. They did not even bother to address my complaints. All I received is silly excuses. If you want to receive customer support for the value of their packages go somewhere else. I am personally going to change banks. My current situation is calling the bank everyday and submitting complaints on daily bases still not receiving any answers after a month since my application has been submitted.

The girl at the counter (Paradeplatz, Zurich) said it’s mandatory to open a business account with Credit Suisse if your blocked account is with credit suisse (WHAT?),they made me fill the application online, after that they sent me an email in german even tho I did the application in Italian, with 4 questions to answer, after that they sent me a pdf with the same question I answered on the online application. I waited one hour to talk with someone that didn’t even know what he was talking about (they don’t even answer the phone) End of the story, waited more than 2 weeks and they refused my application so now I have to start this whole process again with another bank and I can’t access the money on the blocked account until I open a new business account (I live in Switzerland)

I sent my friend who banks with CS two international transfers. They refused the first one and lost the second one for three months.Charged me £56 for the pleasure and refuse to talk to me. My bank had to chase to get the second payment back. The iban bic etc he gave me was correct and they notified him of their refusal of the first, so they knew it was for him. I’m looking into legal recourse to get my money back.

Cumbersome and tiresome processes

I have tried to open a business account with them since three months. The decision to work with CreditSuisse belonged to the company that did the paper work with authorities despite me challenging their decision. The bank account is still not up and running after 3 MONTHS!!!!! First, The identification platforms for security and their half-human/ half-automatized are far from optimal and far from any AI deployed by industries actually. We are talking about security in a bank which should be more advanced and best-in-class compared to let's say food producers, but it is not and I can confirm from experience. So, their security checks do not work at all in a user-friendly, issue-free manner. No, you will be kicked out, interrupted, etc. Second, their staff is totally unprepared for their responsibilities - very young and without knowledge/ experience to be faced with critical situations. Here, the list can go on and on and on and on about how they even understand to answer to your questions. And by the way, they are not the ones to be blamed, but Credit Suisse management that most likely like this understands to reduce costs with employees. So, in conclusion - NO knowledgeable staff that comes in interaction with clients. Third, their fees are huge! Do some homework before even trying to work with them to ensure that you are not wasting your money, because you will not get any value. Forth, the Swiss banking system is in general antiquated despite its worldwide reputation of having financial clusters in Zürich area. Forget it, the level of knowledge, readiness, and especially consciousness with which the Swiss banks are working is in general below EU level. At least for SMEs and private people. For investments, I don't know very well and I cannot judge.

Account opening takes time.

Edited. So the account opening was problematic. The online process did not work properly.The support requested additional steps which are unable to fullfill. So I requested appointment to open the bank account personally. It took them more than a week to call me back. At that moment I was already leaving branch office with account opened... funny. Since then, all looks fine. If something doesn't work, personal consultation looks like best option. I will share my further experience later.

Useless banking system

The Swiss Banking system for the average person is absolutely dreadful. You can not pay online with a debit card (like every other country in the world)so you must get a credit card (which costs 'X' amount per year). You can not then just simply transfer between accounts online in order to pay off your outstanding debt on the credit cards (like every other country in the world) you must wait for a payment slip from a different company (SwissCard) so then you can pay it off online through some other monotonous process. Having lived in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France and South Africa (and now Switzerland). I can easily say that this is without a doubt the stupidest banking system I have ever come across. Incredibly inefficient and counter productive
