What DBS.com.sg (POSB, Yew Tee branch) Lacked

More than a year ago.....reported non-delivery of item purchased online with my posb debit card.I asked in person at Yew Tee branch what else needed to be done, the Malay teller said: Just wait for the police to update you what to do. (Btw, her words were not rude but I felt rudeness through her tone.) I waited for about two months. No news from SPF (Singapore Police Force) nor the bank. Contacted support through DBS Ibanking and was told I can't request for a reverse transaction because more than three months had passed. Wth.... When I was at the branch (Yew Tee branch), why did this teller not inform me all of my options? I already felt cheated by the unscrupulous merchant who continued to bill me despite non-delivery of trial period products, I again felt cheated by not being informed by POSB (subsidiary bank of DBS). Because of an unenthusiastic staff who failed her duty towards their customer (me), I lost about SG$500 for products I never received. POSB NEVER apologised for this matter but they were prompt when I asked for a chargeback in future transactions where the dishonest sellers did not cooperate. I started paying via PayPal too and they are good so far. PayPal lets you open a dispute a year after a transaction if a product is found to be faulty due to technical issues not due to wear-and-tear. I gave POSB a one-star review on Google because I am able to edit my review in future if they improve. Over here at Trust Pilot i give them three stars and may not be bother to change the rating.
