I ordered my order 2 hours ago and let me tell you what has transpired in that time.First the guy calls me and tells me he’s the only driver working and that he has 8 other orders and that it’s gonna take a minute. Ok fine. It’s Wednesday night and we’re in a pandemic. Then he calls about 45 minutes later and says he’s about two miles away and wants to know if we will meet him at the front of our complex. That’s a 15 minute walk in the dark with a six pack, a handle of rum and two 2L bottles of soda. I say no because i’ve already had some drinks and am not about to operate my vehicle in that condition. I generally don’t drive after just one and I was in the middle of having my second. He also is expecting me to walk in the dark to meet someone I don’t know in a neighborhood and city I just moved to. He says fine the he’s instead going back to the store to get even more orders insinuating that since I didn’t agree, I would be waiting even longer. So contact Drizly and the rep was apologetic and offered a $10 credit. Fine. Another 45 minutes go by and I text the driver for an ETA and he says “I can’t give you an ETA, I’m not near you anymore and I have 6 other orders ahead of you. That’s why I wanted to make it easier on you by having you meet me up front” to me reiterating that it was our fault I was waiting because we didn’t want to walk 15 minute in the dark in a place I don’t know yet to meet a guy who I’ve never met to then have to walk all that way back with my order. This guy made me feel like he was doing me a casual favor for rather than a lying customer. I’m not some one waiting on a drug dealer, I paid full price plus fees plus a tip for a service. At this point I try to cancel my order because I don’t want this person at my house but the app won’t let me. So I respond to the email from the rep I worked with earlier and get a short seemingly automated message letting me know my order has been canceled. I’m absolutely shocked by this experience. I have been ordering delivery for literally EVERYTHING since the beginning of the pandemic and have never encountered such a ridiculous situation from any of them. I will not be using Drizly again. Just like with anyone else, I’m sure I’ll tell my friends and family and as ridiculous as this was, I’m sure they’ll tell someone else. I have a lot of patience when it comes to the service industry as I worked in it for 15 years and still gig as a Door Dasher but this was beyond any reality I could have imagine for this situation.

I preordered my things and scheduled it at 8am to come at 1. I got NOTHING I called the store and they said they never received it but it came out of my account!Worst service ever ! I hate it and would NEVER recommend! I want my money !!!

Drizly contacted me about a gift that was sent to me for my birthday. I confirmed a time and date for the delivery,the gift never came, I tried to contact them but there was no way to get in contact with them. The only link was to sign up for their service. I contacted my friend who sent the gift to me and told him to try and get his money back. Drizly now sends me emails asking me to use their service, I recently unsubscribed. Stay away from this service.

Unreliable business

Had my order cancelled for no specific reason given, tried to order again and was cancelled again even though I was charged.So I was charged twice for an unspecific payment error using a payment card that hasn't been given me any trouble before. When contacting support, the answers I received were robotic at best, they eventually sent me the cancelled order notice again which is very barebone and provided little information. Update: I have received my refund, thankfully. Having read other reviews I've realized many people had similar issue. I hope Drizly will have a better customer support and a more informative system in the future.

Completly untrustworthy. I placed a gift order for a friend who received amazing news.The order was accepted and marked as packed. Twenty minutes before it was supposed to be delivered, my friend gets a call saying that the store that Drizly uses did not in fact have the item in stock. (It had shown as in stock and available for same-day delivery on the Drizly website.) Now it's way too late to make any other arrangements. If the whole point of Drizly's business is to reliably deliver alcohol, they completely failed. It's doubly frustrating that there's no phone number to call, and the service rep on the e-mail just said "this happens." GREAT. What a disappointing service. EDIT in response to Drizly's canned response: There is no additional information Drizly can provide except that 1) their "in-stock" status on the app is complete garbage and 2) their vendors routinely lie about order status based on other reviews I've read on here, on their Facebook site, etc. So the whole platform just is dysfunctional and/or deceptive.

Awful. I ordered and nobody showed up. There is no phone number to call, so you are left to the wild west of the Internet chat.Terrible. Don’t use. And then they give you shallow platitudes on the internet and my issue is STILL NOT RESOLVED. The worst. They literally stole my money.
