Garbage customer service

Garbage customer service. Trust me when I say this. They only know how to passively insult you ratherthan help and will go as far as using fear tactics to try having you keep their product by "reminding" you that there's "a chance" they might NOT give you the full amount of refund for the product. Lol this only made me want to return the product even more and I will never deal with these garbage people again. Keep that business up your ass.

Nice Products Lousy Customer Service

I have been doing business with this company for several years and am at the end of my rope.While the products are sometimes great, the customer service is awful. I purchased a web camera from them that lacked the type of features you would expect from a camera costing almost $200.00. It would not zoom. They refused to return it and basically told me your SOL. I'm done with this kind of lousy customer service

I ordered a barebones keyboard, switches and keycaps. As is usual with Drop, they emailed me it had shipped simply because they had made up a label.They finally shipped it three days later (two days later than the original estimated ship date -- not what you want when spending an extra $60 for expedited shipping). After receiving it, I installed the switches and keycaps. I found a couple switches that didn't work, replaced them, and was left with one key that wouldn't work. I tried four different switches, and none would work, so I concluded it was the PCB . I sent an email to customer service describing my issue. After a few days I got a reply, that offered me three options: 1. Get a $25 credit. 2. Get a $20 refund. 3. Exchange it (but he said they were low, so he didn't know when it would ship). Note that there is NO MENTION of being able to return it. I finally told him I'd take the $25 credit, order a replacement PCB (for $55), and never deal with Drop again. I placed the order for the new PCB January 30 (note that the original keyboard order was placed January 15). It was "shipped" on February 11, and actually delivered to Fedex on the 12th. As of today (the 19th), it's made it from New Jersey to Alabama. I get the feeling Drop told Fedex to make it take as long as possible. So, more than a month after placing the original order, and out $65 total for shipping, plus an additional $30 for the replacement PCB, I'm still left without a keyboard. And Drop didn't even care that they lost a customer. Too bad for them, as I've recently bought some audio gear I could have gotten from them (and would have, up until this experience).

I've placed an order for a headset and a amp, in the same order. the headset and amp delivery dates was off by 30 days,when i tried to contact support to cancel the amp, i was told that was impossible even though the item wasn't shipped yet.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I ordered Headphones as a Christmas gift and paid an extra $20 for 2 day shipping so they would arrive before Christmas.DROP informs me that the headphones will not ship until the end of January --- Ok, thats fine, my son is willing to wait.... So I contact DROP and ask them to change the shipping to regular ground instead of 2 day shipping and refund me the $20 I paid for expedited shipping and they FLAT OUT REFUSE saying it is impossible for them to change shipping method once the order has been placed even though the item is not going to be shipped for another 4 weeks. I know its only 20 bucks, but what kind of company are they running there? I was told that it is IMPOSSIBLE for them to change an order in their computer once it is entered. "Impossible"?? I guess they are using Commodore 64's as their main office computers to save money.......

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service. Drop.com set new standards for poor customer service. The online ordering process on Drop.com is straight forward and simple.The order fulfilment process was delayed, but that was expected. After I submitted the order, I realised I had made a mistake when ordering. The mistake was that I ordered the wrong size. I informed Drop of the mistake, took responsibility for it and asked for some help to change the order to the correct size. I live in Australia, so it is a very expensive and time consuming process to send an incorrect sized item back to the US. At the time when I contacted Drop, the order had not been completed at the Manufacturer. I was told by the Drop agent that the order can't be changed with the Manufacturer. I then contacted the Manufacturer and explained my predicament. The Manufacturer was very helpful and sympathetic to my situation. The Manufacturer said that they would happily make the change for the correctly sized item, but it must be requested by Drop. I contacted Drop again to relay the positive news that I had received from the Manufacturer. The Drop agent then told me that they would not change the order. I then replied to ask if I could have the order "ship to" address redirected to the Manufacturer's address, or a friend's address in the US so that I could arrange an exchange separately; without it travelling across the globe first. The agent replied to say no and then closed the ticket! My incorrectly sized item then shipped to Australia. The customer service provided by Drop is exceptionally poor. This experience is easily the poorest customer service I have ever received. The lack of empathy, or willingness to entertain the simplest changes to help me solve the problem was astonishing and made me feel like I was communicating with AI, rather than a person. It was shocking to have the ticket closed when the agent decided that they had finished with my appeals to not have the incorrectly sized order shipped to Australia. A simple address change could likely have taken a couple of minutes in most inventory management, or order fulfilment software. That 3 minute time investment could have made a world of difference to me. The flow on effect of a potential 3 minute investment would have been a happy customer who then relays the story to friends. I am relaying the story, although it is not of a positive experience. I would caution anyone who is considering making a purchase from Drop.com. I would not recommend using Drop.com. If there was a rating below 1 Star I would have selected it for this review. I will not use the service again.
