Stockport to Norwich
I travel regularly between Stockport and Norwich. Very old rolling stock. Frequently delayed. No WiFi. Trolley service removed if the train is too busy. Last time I travelled, the train broke down. Poor customer experience. The staff are friendly though!
Relentlessly third-class service
Relentlessly third-class service. Delays, dirty trains, cheap-quality trains, overcrowded, very high prices. We've been lucky to travel by train in Italy, Germany, France, Belgium and Japan. The trains on even very local lines are very superior to EMR stock and service, a different world, and very reasonable fares too. Today, yet again, we had an EMR train delayed by 16 minutes for 'technical' reasons. The technical reason was something out of a Carry On movie, where the train driver wasn't able to contact the train manager/guard... not the first time. Where does the money go from ticket sales? Shareholders?
Third class service first class price
Third class service but first class price, this train carrier definitely knows what monopoly means…. Call for another train carrier to be introduced in EM area please!!! They want to show that they are capable lol it’s joke if you experience how they introduce their new incapable train C810
Matlock to Nottingham train cancelled again
Matlock to Nottingham train cancelled again today. Another fault on the train. On the EMR app page they call this a minor disruption 🤔. Just useless. Caught the next Cross country train which is currently stuck outside Long Eaton because there is a train ahead with a fault. Probably another EMR train. Be a miracle if I get to work today.
