Charged me $1500 without telling me! Save your pockets!

I am a current customer and reserved a vehicle in October for my wedding with an great rate.I called 2 days ahead asking if they were going to be able to provide me with the vehicle that I reserved. I asked because I usually reserve with the airport but wanted something closer to my home so I used the Woodbridge location. I received an email to check in the night before so I did. I arrive for my pick up time and this location did not have the vehicle or anything comparable. I was informed by Joey that I could go to the Reagan airport and transfer my reservation for the same vehicle and price. He informed me that since I had checked in online the night before he could not do it through his system. So I then had to find someone to take me to the airport in order to take my car home which took another 2 hours. I finally get to the airport and was informed that I could not transfer my reservation nor for the same price. The woman then informed me that I had to recreate a new reservation meaning my rate would be astronomical. So instead of me paying $250 for the week for my vehicle I am then “put on a $1500 hold.” I was able to speak with the airport branch manager who was very helpful however, the Woodbridge location manager was no longer available since the location was closed by the time I arrived to the airport. They told me the hold was in place just so they could investigate what happened at the Woodbridge location and then they would get back with me but would Absolutely NOT charge my card, but would call me. Within only a couple days I look at my account of my financial institution and I have been charged the full $1500 without even being notified. I am mediately call Enterprise. They claim they have no idea why I’ve been charged. They say they have sent this to corporate now . This still has not been resolved over a month later and I am deeply concerned about a company not honoring people’s reservations. And then just charging their account without telling them! This was something planned well in advanced and I received nothing to support me because this location gave away all the vehicles especially after I called about it. They have refused to give me any district manager or area managers numbers for me to reach out to them! This is horrible customer service! I will never ever use this company again and I just had a wedding of almost 150 people where we made sure each and everyone of our close family and friends knew our story and I can assure you they won’t either and what works just as good as advertising? Word of mouth! It is insanity that this company would treat customers like this especially customers that have been going to nobody but them for many years. Horrible company and horrible customer service. I am constantly calling them and I keep hearing it’s being investigated, be patient. I have been more than patient. And you are a crooked company.

KCMO airport is the worst Enterprise…

KCMO airport is the worst Enterprise location of all time. They didn’t clean the vehicle,which was made apparent by the personal belongings left in the vehicle. Not only that but I requested, on multiple platforms, for someone from the location to call me & here it is 3 weeks later with no call back. The customer support is useless. Even if you send an email they do not follow up or ensure the ticket is resolved. They just respond and close the ticket!! It’s insane. I will never rent from them again just based on the lack of support from customer service. Horrible.

This review is for Enterprise as a whole. not the location So I had an Enterprise rental that my insurance company arranged after an accident.I wanted a Suv crossover and they had one but I could tell the person didn't want to rent it on an insurance claim so they said it was reserved. They said the renter was on the way there. I knew it was bull so I said I will wait in case they don't show up. She then said you know what I will just let you take it. So I took it. We never did a walk thru and there was only 1/4 tank of gas. Fine. When I returned the car there was a small dent in the bumper cover. I don't know where it happened but I accepted responsibility and left $500 for the deductible on my insurance. The guy that did the return was a little rude and the other guy working that day had his baby in a stroller with him behind the desk. He would leave the baby there among strangers when he went outside to do walk throughs. I thought that was careless so did the other customers in the office. They took my insurance info and 2 weeks later they wanted me to file a claim with my insurance. Well the little dent in the bumper cover could easily have been popped out with a heat gun or a new bumper cover is under $200 dollars. So I asked for an estimate seeing I knew it was going to be less than the $500 they already took from me. I didn't want to file a claim and I wanted the difference refunded. Well one month later they are still renting the car out. The damage wasn't very noticeable. I asked 3 times to resolve this and they have ignored my requests, yet they continue renting the car and hold my money. For all I know there will be more damage and they will try to charge me. I just want this resolved but all I get from Enterprise is crickets!

Our insurance was covering $50/day…

Our insurance was covering $50/day while our car was being repaired. So Enterprise in Stuart, Florida,put us in a V8 Nissan Armada, huge vehicle for a retired couple, but that's what the reservation was for (?). When we turned the car in, Enterprise told us we owed $50 in taxes and fees! We refused to pay that. It was then halved, so paid it just to be done with it. Watch for those hidden fees. We refused the $30/day insurance, which would have been 1/3 of what I pay for a year. I was too nervous to drive it, my husband did. Happy to get our own car back. Will never use Enterprise again. One bright note, a new employee was very pleasant.

Wrongfully Billed/Charged

I was in a collision and the other drivers insurance covered my vehicle rental while my car was in for repairs.Enterprise was who we ended up with... At first, super awesome, brought me 2 options (2020Altima & 2021Camry). I went with the Camry, simply because I have 2 small kids and it had leather seats. Well, it looked clean at first glance, but there was clearly uncleaned spots, and due to Covid, that's kinda a red-flag, but okay, I'll brush it off and leave it be, clean it myself, oh well. They told me it had 3/4 of a tank and that's what I needed to return it with. So I had this car for about a week, and on my way to get my car and drop off the Camry, I stopped at the gas station and brought it up to EXACTLY 3/4 of a tank, and drove EXACTLY ONE MILE to drop off the car. Enterprise calls me 3 days later trying to charge me $44 saying I brought the car back with 3/16 of a tank of gas!?!! Excuse me!? I normally wouldn't care, BUT I going through enough with injuries and missing work, I can't afford to be scammed out of $44 because they did whatever they did wrong. If you get a rental here, watch out for them wrongfully billing you!!!

Negative stars. There’s no customer loyalty with them. I’ve rented a car for 6 months PLUS and receive no gratitude,no points, no loyalty program WHATSOEVER. Just more and MORE charges. And with their absurd prices that’s the LEAST they could do. EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE I have interacted with over the last year is RUDE, the OPPOSITE OF UNDERSTANDING, and UNHELPFUL. I keep forgiving their business and saying to myself “maybe this time will be different” out of desperation because I need a vehicle to drive.. but EVERY SINGLE TIME I walk away disappointed, angry, and frustrated ALL OVER AGAIN. Save yourself the trouble and rent from ANYWHERE ELSE because enterprise literally SUCKS repeatedly, no matter what location.

I am very disappointed with Enterprise at BNA Airport

I am very disappointed at the Enterprise rental service at BNA Airport. I rented a car for our trip to Nashville- notified them that we would not arrive until after midnight.I even called them and they said they stay open until we get the car. That was a outright lie. We arrived at there rental car location at BNA and they were closed and so were all other car companies. Everyone was scrambling to get a ride to a hotel all with the same problem. Common courtesy would have been to tell people they wont be open after a certain time. So it took over an hour to get a taxi to our hotel and major money to get a private driver to take us around- most of the time stuck with no transportation. Basically the trip was just terrible all stemming from this rental car company- Never use them they dont care about there customers.
