The content is well worth the price of the subscription, certainly during the months of September to January and March and April.However the steaming service is terrible. Live games can lag, the app on the Sony TV does not load. Terrible streaming service.

Do not waste your money unless you’re buying the NCAA package to watch college volleyball.Customer service is practically nonexistent. Nothing anyone MIGHT want to watch is aired (or re-aired) and the “On Demand” is a complete lie! There’s never any games in it. Save your money and watch the highlights on YouTube the next day! Good luck overseas military!!! Smh

I signed up for ESPN Player as an alternative to watch US college sports here in Europe.
After a few months of hit and miss service,I sat down to watch some March Madness. The lagging, the disconnects got completely hopeless.
I contacted their online chat for service, and after a while the only suggestion they had was to remove the app, and then re-install it.
As I had failed to be impressed with the service so far, or the customer service solutions I asked them to cancel my account, and refund my money. They could not do that, so in a follow up mail to customer service I told them that the App was permanently deleted, and to not renew it.
They renewed it anyway, and are putting it on me the customer to prove that I requestedfor them to cancel it 8 months ago.
For the record; I have a decent internet connection (dowload 250-300 Mbps) so the problem getting a fast and stable connection was not on my side
