If You've No Self-Respect - Fly German/Euro Wings

Got my account balance today. The points keep decreasing because they are out of date. The fact that I,and most other German Wings passengers, have not been in a position to fly is irrelevant to the company. When I spoke to them I was informed that the points have to be used within the timeframe allowed. I pointed out that there is a pandemic, but at this point they stopped responding. Stereotypical German arrogance and obnoxiousness. Incapale of treating customers like humans or looking at the big picture. These guys are definitely Germany's answer to Ryanair, something they seem proud of by virtue of their ongoing "F### You" attitude towards their customers.

The worst cabin crew!

Cabin crews are absolutely minimum. They are not rude, but just treat passengers like robots. Also once out flight delayed due to the adverse weather condition,they were complaining that they could not go back to Germany on the night. They should not complain to their customers, as it is not really our fault.

A big shame for the humanity: an airline company lying and preventing a father to see his 2-month old daughter

I'm surprised that 16% of the people gave more than 1*. This is the embarrassment of the airlinespace. It employs by far the most arrogant and uninformed personnel. This is the story of the father (EU national) of a 2-month old baby and the husband of a German citizen that today couldn't reach his family based in Germany. I went to the airport 3 hours before the departure and shared my (1) booking, (2) COVID test done 48 hours before, (3) my wife's German passport scan, (4) our marriage certificate, (5) the Einreiseanmeldung receipt. The personnel told me - in a very rude way and with no humanity - that not being a German citizen I couldn't travel to Germany even though my family (and, again, a baby 2 months old) live there. I spent time walking the staff again through the situation but this only made them more and more verbally aggressive. I insisted once again and found out that in the end only pretended to help me. This lady took my info, pretended to send an email to the border control police in Dusseldorf and 30 mins before the flight she told me that I wasn't allowed to travel as the police didn't reply and it was too late. My wife called the border control police and guess what? They never received an email. What happened today is simply shameful. Thorsten Dirks and Jens Bischof - ex CEO and CEO of the company - it doesn't matter what, you are always accountable for awful behaviours like this one. I hope you'll read this message somehow. Everyone is going through the same with COVID but this doesn't authorise you and your staff to prevent a father to see his daughter.

Eurowings - flight in losses I tried to redeem a previously purchased voucher. No chance.The system refuses to accept. Eurowings cannot be reached by phone. Mails are not replied to. So: Put the voucher in the trash and fly with another airline in the future. Bye-bye Eurowings!

Disgraceful company: be aware, as they are using the COV-19 Pandemic, to steal money from Passengers.Report them to the EU commission and the relevant authorities. Before COVID I took 115 to 140 flights / year. I have seen pretty much everything and any sort of disservice. The one from Eurowings is one of the worse Eurowings has shown significant flaws in their process and built-in practices in place, aimed at scamming their customers. In the price of my Ticket Dortmund to Brindisi (Basic) a hand luggage was included for free. Immediately after the booking I called EUROWINGS call center, to make sure, this was correct and they confirmed. On the day of the flight, I decided to call the contact center again (Yes, I did not trust them already). After one hour spent in the queue, with no answer, I gave up. Scamming practices At the check in the lady charged me immediately 5€ for checking in there (since when? And where was it written??!!) Nowhere in the whole ticketing system had Eurowings mentioned this, nor did they send a reminder before the flight. Silence  Ignorance  Traps  customer defrauded After collecting the 5€, the lady asked me to pay additional 40 Euros for the luggage, to which I exploded. I knew, something was being hidden by Eurowings through the whole process. I argued that this was free in my Basic ticket. She pointed at my small (see photos), saying that was my hand luggage (measures 10 cm x 10 cmx1 cm, so this slides anywhere, including the hand luggage). As this sleeve being converted into a hand luggage, the trolley became a second luggage, so I had to pay additional 40€ (half the ticket price), if I wanted to fly. I asked to speak to a manager, which obviously does not exist. She said to contact the complaint department online. I reached to them and I got evasive copy and paste emails, so I decided to report them for illegal practices to the EU Commission. Do the same if this happens to you I requested an official apology by the company and the Kai advisor on Facebook who avoided to answer, as well as Michelle Polzin and Laura Piccolomo from the customer service, who tried to shut me down with a useless, time wasting Emails. Disgraceful, stay away and report them as soon as they scam you.

It's the only airline who didn't grant me a refund when I couldn't take my flights due to my mother's death!All documents were provided. Very disappointing and sad. More airlines were involved in those flights. They had understanding and paid me back the full price.
