Worse than the worst
We hired some tickets believing the singer was who Spotify said he was.Once we received the tickets and realized it was a misunderstanding or a fraud (only a few minutes after the bought and six moths before the show) we asked to cancel the e-commerce transaction.
Against all the European e-commerce laws, EVENTIM told us it was impossible to cancel the electronic purchase (even that we hired the cancellation insurance)...
Anyone is able to give back any product bought by e-commerce months after the purchase and EVENTIM denies you to cancel an electronic order the same day you realize it is a misunderstanding or a fraud.
Unfair and probably ilegal.

Illegal handling of refunds.
For canceled events eventim wanted to give me back less than I payed.It was not much (~6€) but on principle I started some research: This practice is illegal, at least in germany. Several courts ruled that ticket shops are forced to refund THE FULL PRICE if an event has been canceled or postponed!
At least they didn't want to let it come down to it as I threatened to consult a lawyer and now out of "goodwill" (what they call it) they refunded me the whole price. Well call it goodwill if you want, I call it obeying the jurisdiction. At least I have my money back.read more

has purchased tickets for 6 shows in april. due to covid, the concerts have been postponed.I can not attend the new shows. as I can not travel from 17 to 22 December as I live in another country. can not refund the money. and can not use a coupon. I bought tickets online from Hungary and "Home print" ticket was not available, only "International mail" in a very high cost.I hope it will arrive without problem. ... Last time a German friend bought tickets for me and it was lost under mailing. Eventim promised us to send replacement tickets but only 2 weeks before the concerts (postponed again). Why Eventim cannot send it immediately by e-mail that we can be sure and calmed down? Two weeks is a very short time to arrange our flights/hotel room bookings.read more
