Placed an order that was never delivered. Funtuan told me I had to contact the restaurant and driver directly. I called the restaurant and they said it was ready but not picked up, drivers phone went straight to an uber related voicemail. After 30’minutes on the online chat with Fantuan I’ve been told I’ll get a refined in 7 business days but if not call back. I’m calling Visa to report them.
This app is a scam to trick you into a subscription
The user interface to their app is terrible, and designed to trick you into signing up for a monthly service fee. There is no path to unsubscribe from this monthly fee, and there is no response from their customer service e-mail. I used the app once to deliver food while visiting Montreal, and it subscribed me to a monthly service fee without my explicit knowledge. I found out by checking my credit card statement some months later and finding a string of unwanted charges. Additionally, the experience I had with the one time I used the app was that they did not live even remotely to the time window they stated when I ordered the meal, so the food was old and cold, I could not even eat it and had to get something else for dinner.
