I absolutely hate flixbus

I absolutely hate flixbus. But what can you do? It's cheap and that's it. Drivers drive recklessly,are rude, don't speak any languages, luggage is lost or stolen - tough luck, toilets unsanitary and smelly as hell, everything is super unprofessional and chaotic. It's always s stressful experience. But the worst thing is that you can't even trust that the trip will actually take place. I will still take flixbus every now and then, but often even hitchhiking is better and safer.

Was the only one wearing the mask on board. Not even the drivers were wearing them.People were coughing and sneezing and nobody cared. Great job battling the pandemic Flixbus.

Corona is hard for all of us BUT

Corona is hard for all of us. Especially for tourism and travel agencys. But flixbus is tries to do it differently.I had a voucher from a trip I had to cancel last year. As it would expire soon I turend to Flixbus and asked for an extention or my money. They offered me an extension for 2 years which is great! But I also asked if it would be possible to get my money back. I mean I am happy with the extension but money is always better. They immediately said yes. I received my money within 5 days! Thats awesome! That´s better Service than at qatar. There I need to wait for 8 weeks. I really like to travel with Flixbus and especially Flixtrain. The buses are new. I can cancel my ride really spontaneously. And they are helpful! The prices are cheap and the people are so nice! Thank you guys! One star less, because it took me to long to find the right contact formular.

Flixbus is the worst company during coronavirus! First of all they cancel the bus and instead of giving the refund they gave vouchers that are soon to be expired.To utilize the voucher you need to book some bus trip which Flixbus is not capable to provide because of coronavirus restrictions (i understand). If at least they would extend the validity of the vouchers or gave the refund. But looks like Flixbus prefers to have a negative press and to make people hate them which can push them out of business instead of simply give the money back they somehow stolen from the customers.

I loved my trip from Brussels to London , the bus driver was very nice and friendly and the whole journey was smooth and pleasant!When corona over- I will definitely travel with them again!

Cancellation and no refund

Flixbus cancelled trip a few days prior to departure. Refused to refund ticket, but only offered to change ticket to an irrelevant departure 8 hours later.The short notice cost me a unrefundable air ticket to Berlin and on top a new air ticket in order for me to arrive on time.

Most abusive company ever. Monopolies should not be allowed

Flixbus is one of the worst things that could have happened to transportation in Europe.By buying all the small bus companies in Europe they have jacked up the prices and created abusive policies. This pandemic is an illustration of that. I understand you have been forced to cancel some of your trips, but by stealing your customers and not being flexible, you are creating a very bad reputation for yourselves. Bus have been cancelled and they did not automatically reimbursed or provided a voucher for them. And if you do not make a complaint within 3 months, then you just loose your money. Is it really the customers fault that you did not automatically provide a voucher ? Look at their brilliant responses: Thank you for your e-mail. Regulations allow you to state your claims within three months after the end of your journey. Unfortunately, this deadline has passed already. If you think your rights have not been respected, you should make a complaint to the bus or coach company within 3 months of the scheduled service during which the problem occurred. The bus or coach company must react within 1 month and give you a final reply 3 months after receiving your complaint. This information can be found under Bus passenger rights (EU law): We regret that we cannot meet your request in this. We look forward to welcoming you on board again, soon. This is exactly why monopolies are bad for the economy and for customers as we cannot punish you by not using your services.
