Games Workshop has been making Citadel Miniatures, the finest fantasy miniatures in the world, for 30+ years. Set in the worlds of Warhammer & Warhammer 40,000 these miniatures are prized by collectors, modellers & gamers alike. We do pretty much everything ourselves because we are obsessed with the quality of our products & services. Our global HQ is in Nottingham, UK & is home to over 1000 employees. This is where we design our miniatures, games, books, paints, brushes & all the other products that people need to enjoy these gem-like creations. We also design & make the injection moulding tools that allow us to manufacture our miniatures to the highest standards. Every Citadel miniature sold worldwide is designed, engineered, manufactured & packed at our HQ, then dispatched to one of our global warehouses or straight to the customer. We have almost 500 retail stores in 23 countries, as well as trade sales teams selling to over 4000 independent retailers worldwide. The UK retail operations, European trade sales & export sales to territories where we don't have stores are all run from our HQ, as well as our global webstore & customer service team which supports these sales businesses. Our HQ is also home to our global service centre with all of the functions needed to keep a £200m+ public company running – IT, HR & Finance to name a few. All our retail & trade operations for the US & Canada are run from Memphis & Dallas, USA & from Sydney, Australia for Australia & New Zealand. Both sites have dedicated warehouses ensuring retail stores & trade stockists across these regions get the same high level of service as our UK & European customers. They have service centres too that make sure the business can keep running whatever happens. We also have a small office in Dusseldorf, Germany, which supports our continental European retail stores, as well as very small offices in Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore & Kuala Lumpur to support our growing Asian operations.

Devout fan of the hobby. Multiple orders failed to be delivered. No level of customer service,no offer to resend, contact the courier etc. Have been buying everything from third party sellers since and haven't looked back.

I have been a devout fan of the hobby and company, since I returned to it 7 years ago and it’s fair to say that for those years the majority of my income has gone into this hobby.
However ,after another botched release and the deafening silence from GW I have had to make the sad dedication to hence forth boycott the company.
It really pains me but I think this is a necessary action to take for many of us, to send a signal that in this niece market business, their customer fanbase should ATLEAST get the respect and receive information on what’s going on.
Alas Im afraid GW has come to their point where they honestly do not care on their own consistency and their old fanbase

I strongly advise against purchasing ANYTHING directly from this company. Furthermore,I strongly advise avoiding their marketing emails and social media channels. Here's why:
Over the past year or 2, GW's webstore has turned utterly incompetent. Out of the last 4 orders I placed, none arrived within a month. The most recent order, a 12 month subscription to White Dwarf, is no exception. I got to the subscription purchase through a marketing email promoting March's upcoming White Dwarf issue, urging us to subscribe today. Well, I did. Now it's over a month later, onto a whole different issue (April) with its own marketing emails, and yet my order is still PENDING.
In the meantime, anyone who has been following their promotions was likely looking forward to their new Cursed City game, and looking forward to expansions and longterm support for years to come ... because GW specifically said that. Well, fast fwd, Cursed City sold out online and is "not returning". What happened to the longterm support?
Concurrently, we also have the new Belakor PREORDER. Also marketed for MONTHS. Hyped. Sold out w/in minutes. If you are reading this and wondering how exactly a preorder can be sold out, well, you arent alone!
This is the exact same situation that occurred w/ the release of the Indomitus set. How a company could allow this kind of negative publicity and bad-will to happen even once is mindboggling, but it actually seems to increasingly be the rule, not the exception. It is almost as if GW is deliberately trying to drive up the value of their products by artificially making them scarce.
At any rate, this is turning into a pattern of repeated and blatant false-advertising. I know some customers and store owners have been talking about a class-action lawsuit, and I would probably endorse that, but in the interim, I'm finally (after 20some years since 2nd ed.) disgusted enough that I will stop buying from them. (Cheaper on amazon anyway, the products they actually bother to produce anyway).
And much better to avoid their marketing hype than be constantly disappointed w/ NOT BEING ABLE TO PURCHASE THE PRODUCT. Mind-boggling.

Pre order for Pariah Nexus placed on release day at full price from the GW website...46 calendar days and still sitting in "Pending".Pending what I am unsure as they took my money and contacting their customer service, per their website if your order has not be delivered in 25 business days, results in responses that they cannot tell you the status of the order or why it is being delayed. Meanwhile, the item is available for purchase from Amazon at a 15% discount...guess I just need to cancel my order, but I lack faith that they can complete that either.

Great figures, lore and other materials, I have been a long time warhammer player.Now i for the first time ordered through GWs own website. And that would be the last!
Holy crap their service is bad - really BAD!
And the use of snail-mail is beyond me. How can delivery take up to 20 working days ~ one month! When all others take 2-3 days even between countries!!!
Never will I order through them anymore. And fankly I am starting to look for other brands to do conversions.
